I just put the same motor kit on my old Ace linehauler. I took the cover off the black switch box and pulled the switch out to get it out of the way. I then put 3M 4200 semi permanent adhesive along the outside back and bottom where the box meets the metal post and flat piece. I clamped the box both against the post and the piece its back hits and in 24 hours it is strong and secure. No drilling or bolt required. When I put the switch back through the hole it came out of, I turned it sideways so it switches left to right not up and down. It makes it more accessible. The cover still fit on perfectly.
@@JohnVHLife I was at Bainbridge Island yesterday and my Ace puller blew two fuses. I’m trying to see if upgrading the motor will help. Where did you buy your kit?
@@DSKSeattle Link in the description, straight from their dealer. Double check your plug, the wires in the back, all connections, use a bigger fuse perhaps
