The character, Alexa, is a human girl that Nights Terrors (The demon that’s soul is combined with Candy Pop’s) is trying to take away her soul. Once this happens, Candy Pop places the soul of his childhood crush, named April Fools (that Night Terrors killed along with almost all the other members of Candy Pop’s species) into Alexa’s body in an attempt to bring her back to life. This works and brings April back from the dead as a human. I would very much recommend visiting the creator DanceOfAngels DeviantArt and learning more about Umbra, the verse that Candy Pop now belongs to and Night Terrors is one of the main antagonists of. It’s very interesting and there are a few more of Candy Pop’s stories there, including his backstory and Night Terrors’s backstory.

I've been an avid Creepypasta reader since I was about nine, and it's been about five year since then, so I'm really familiar with many character based stories. However, this is one that never seemed creepy to me, besides the explicit description of a sinister expression, there's almost no malicious intent I can sense from Candy Pop himself. It's all just my personal belief, and I don't know much about this story, but it almost seems that he was trying to help Alexa. Since it describes a demonic sort of shadow, I believe that he's just a demon that saved her from being thrown into Hell and dying too early. Maybe he was a tad off in his approach, but it did look like he was trying to cheer her up as well. I don't know, that's just the vibe I get. I love your work by the way, always an inspiration.
If I am going to be honest, I still enjoy reading and watching these stories.I never really shared it with anyone since I thought that it was stupid that I enjoy these. And with the fact that I never got scared about these things, a lot of people think I’m just weird like that and that I need help. 😊
