Pain Remains trilogy and Soulless Existence are highly recommended! One of the most impressive things about Lorna, and what really sets them apart for me, is how shockingly emotional they can get despite being absurdly brutal and at times overwhelming. The videos for the Pain Remains trilogy along with the songs are a spiritual experience
Definitely have to preface this recommendation with a warning that the trilogy and it's videos in particular are of a sensitive nature regarding self harm and suicide. Would be up to Vango if she wants to of course, but I think it's important to make that aware 😊

I'm going to save you a lot of time Vanessa, everyone is about to recommend their Pain Remains Trilogy including myself. Don't make the mistake a lot of people do, it must be the original music videos (not live performance) because it tells a story. If you're struggling hearing the lyrics, someone made a 3 in 1 video which includes the lyrics on screen. You're about to experience Deathcore in an emotional way. PS: Bring Tissues

Hey Vango, it's Gango. You should totally check out Will Ramos' collab with Elizabeth on her channel TheCharismaticVoice - She's a former opera singer that's apparently become like total BFFs with Will, and she convinced him (twice!) to come out to this vocal institute with a bunch of researchers so they can really check out what's going on in his throat when he's executing these extreme vocals. There _are_ two videos that she's done, but the 2nd one is probably the most complete, with more researchers, more tests, more science! Will is an absolute gem of a man through all of it, having a good time, being a good sport, and eager to learn and contribute.
So the SECOND video (Pt 2 is more complete, considering they also repeat the tests of the first visit, and the researchers go over their findings from the first time with Will) is called *"The Science Behind Vocal Distortion: Will Ramos of Lorna Shore"* and she and Will just put it out a few weeks back!

The charismatic voice and Will had a camera put down his throat last year and then recently they got together with the researchers and did a heavy look into how his throat works. Its fascinating, you should see it!

Since you've been doing country latey and also Will Ramos/Lorna shore, you might like "Bilmuri" It's kind of rock with a country twang and they have a song with Will Ramos on it. Honestly the most under rated artist out right now, It's Johnny from Attack Attack who started a solo project, basically writes and does all the music except the drums and the videos are hilarious. Hightly recommend. ANABOLIC SPUDSMAN (THIQUE EDITON) (feat. Spencer Stewart and Will Ramos) would be a good start or you could jump into his new stuff like Empty Handed or Better Hell

Will Ramos has been working with the channel the charismatic voice in some very awsome vocal study into these harsh vocals and they are currently trying to get funds for a study.
I was brought in to Lorna by my daughter. She haqs been banding my stuff from the 90s. Being a youtube junkie this dude opened himself up to medical procedures that make me whimper, for understanding his vocal which is awesome. Not to mention everytime I see Will on video he is just cool AF, a normal chill bro. Hell most all Deathcore bands I got to spend time with, they are just great people.

You have to listen to The Pain Remains from Lorna Shore. Its a 3 part series and it will hit you in the feels harder than you think. It's poetry for sure even though its metal vocals. I'd love to see that reaction!
This is on the lighter side of deathcore, as it's syphonic. Want heavier? Go for Signs of the Swarm. A very good song by them is Amongst the Low and Empty! Some intense vocal articulation in that song too :D

Lorna Shore is an insanely talented band. They've been through 3 vocalists. Will Ramos, their current vocalist, absolutely catapulted this band into the fame they have been getting the last 3 years!🤘🤘
He can do this to his voice and speak normally afterwards.
He actually has no damage on his vocal chords doing this. Mine are wrecked though.
There is a video where they put a camera down his throat to see what he does. it's with The Charismatic Voice.
That gave me much more of a static X "It wasn't me" but well played by him.

Of the abyss is a part of the EP you did listent to, and It's one of my favorites by them. And If you are to take the advice from some people in your comment section, pain remains trilogy is a must. Original video, and lyrics. This trilogy made the entire (almost) metal community ball their eyes out.

First I gotta say I’m a huge Lorna Shore fan, get that out of the way. You have to listen to their song Dancing Like Flames. You showed that video of the guy playing Shaggy. If you haven’t checked out Leo Moracchioli you would love him, he does metal covers of many popular songs. Country Roads, Africa, What is Love are my suggestions, but there are many other great covers.

Also cj was shown to be a racist pos who never even tried to answer for constantly using the n word and bringing a gun on tour cause he is literally afraid of black people (ben duerr the vocalist of shadow intent confirmed this was true by the way) and cj response to r kelly stuff was laughable at best took him 6 months to come with chopped up text messages that can easily be faked. All he did in my opinion was confirm the stories about him. And if you live in yhe Pittsburgh area you know the stories are true... he was just way too big for people to say something hence why everyone turned their back on him for the most part even people who've known him for years.

Too bad about the low volume, but I assume it was only on our end at we know the song already, so whatever ;) IF you are interested in actually seeing and learning about what happens when he sings like that I highly recommend you react to the Charismatic Voice, who now has two "documentaries" about how they put a camera down Wills throat, and later using all from needles to MRI to see, what is going on. It is quite fascinating.

Check out this whole triolgy sometime, To the Hellfire is about death, Of the Abyss is about Purgatory, and And I Return to Nothingness is about rebirth. The bamd took on a whole new feeling when Will joined. I was "meh" about them before, but the focus on storytelling in the kinda blackened deathcore style has become one of my favorite things lately

If you want something really heavy also check out "Mirar - Cauchemar". Its most certainly different from many things you have heard as it is Thall which is pretty nieche... :d It also just released 5 days ago.
I highly recommend you check out mare by mirar. It’s crazy heavy. It’s an album that goes for like half an hour and while you could do the whole thing in one go, the last song is my true recommendation.

Every once in awhile, an emperor penguin will do something very strange. Most of them will never do this, but the ones who do have stumped scientists for awhile now.
Every once in awhile, a penguin will turn away from its colony and start heading for the interior of the continent (Antarctica). Away from the food, the water, the safety of the colony. Off alone towards certain death. Almost like zombies. In the past, scientists would try to stop them. Or take them back to the colony. At which point, they'd simply turn around and begin their journey again, in the same direction, toward the same end. Some would even get violent if they were met with intervention.
The prevailing thought is that this penguin is depressed and is committing suicide in a very non-altruistic manner. But nobody knows for sure. There are a lot of possible explanations for this (including the possibility of a fungal infection similar to the cordyceps infection that can cause some colony insects to behave in exactly the same way, potential signs of brain tumors or other medical conditions that the birds are exposed to) It's well known that birds can experience depression or anxiety, but they tend to respond to this in very immediate ways, such as by over-preening (pulling out their own feathers), screaming, or being unusually quiet, loss of appetite, etc. (Bird anorexia is a MAJOR thing) These activities are signs of redirecting stress, while wandering off into the abyss of an unforgiving frozen continent implies the ability to analyze and think ahead in a way that most birds really don't seem to be able to do. So the reason may not be as immediately obvious as you might think.
From what I know, no autopsies have been performed on these rogue penguins. Most likely because the conditions are too harsh to hunt their corpses down. But until one is performed, we really have zero idea why they do this. And yet they do.
And the behaviour is common enough that it's been documented multiple times.
