Update: I ordered and installed this unit myself and it was so easy. This specific video got me 90% of the way there but I needed some troubleshooting help and their customer support was brilliant. There was just one different step I needed to do but there was also a video for that. The unit comes with a lot of optional wires which the manual could do better job at explaining but if you're using the car's original reverse camera and not adding any other external devices than it really is as easy as this video shows. For reference I have a 2018 Audi Q3 (high version).

@@michaelscoots If your Audi MMI already had a reverse camera then you don't have to do anything extra, it will work with just the installation steps in this video.
What about all of the other wires...like the ones for the reverse camera? Do you strip those new wires and replace the old ones with those? And plug in the RCA (yellow) cable replacing the old one? Thank you!
@@Seicane-Car-DVD For some reason, when the radio is connected to aux, I hear a clicking sound in the speakers for about 3 seconds. There is no such thing in the native tape recorder.

How many inches is the screen? Is this a carplay kit for mazda in your site? Coz the screen seems larger than the audi q3 carplay which is only 9inch. Tell me if the mazda is compatible as well.
hi, it is 10.25 inch. it is for AUDI Q3 instead of Mazda. The same car series will have screens of different sizes that are suitable, and buyers can choose according to their needs

So I have a random issue with mine I got elsewhere. It doesn't shut off when the car does. Think it's slowly killing me battery. Woke up this morning with it dead as hell.
I installed as shown in this video, but had to connect to red CAN behind AC, not yellow because of what I received - I had same issue it would not turn off @handsomegrandson so I took it out

It starts at 1:00 in and relates to the Gateway plug. If you find that yours doesn't fit in the AC gateway plug then you'll want to follow this other video's instructions for how to connect the gateway plug underneath the steering wheel instead. @@Dj_razvan_micu if the gateway cable doesn't fit the one in your AC unit then you need to connect it to the red gateway under the steering wheel. This was the same case for me.

@@Seicane-Car-DVD In the video it seems very large compared to the original screen. It seems that it can interfere with the view and distract.. Maybe it looks different in person than in the video.

how do I turn it off, when I turn off the car the navigation does not close, it stays on all the time
the device is controlled by ACC cable. If the car engine is off, the car key is removed, and the doors are locked, the screen will turn off.
the acc cable does not fit me. must it be connected to the black box in the glove box?

hi, you can check if there is still any voltage on the canbus when the screen turns off. it is has, there is an issue with the canbus possibly.
