- Christ is in our midst! June 23rd, 2024. Blessed Pentecost. I am re posting our appeal for help with adoption fundraising. We ask that you share this link with the hopes that there are donors who can help us. However for anyone of you who can donate even the smallest amount would be very helpful. I hope to post more videos soon.
As an Orthodox family, our faith guides us in all we do. Recently, we felt called to expand our family through adoption from Bulgaria. Our aim: to provide a loving home while preserving our child's Bulgarian roots and Orthodox faith.
To make this dream a reality, we turned to our community for support, starting a GoFundMe page with our spiritual Father's blessing. The response was overwhelming, affirming the power of compassion.

Thank you for posting this. For some reason I've always felt a connection to him.
I wish I was not so allergic to the incense that they burn in some churches I spent some time taking with a local pastor about all the last 4years i then went to a service I had to leave early he was very humble and not into the artificial spirit and the church was built in the year I was born I need to get back to him so he doesn't feel like it was his teachings and service the incense he made me feel comfortable and he did say he was hesitant for their are alot of crazy and after sitting and listening to me for a couple of hours when the church was locked he heard Gods message he apologized that he was hesitant about me at first and I liked he was very big into Mike the Arch Angel

My grandpa taught me a rhyming prayer to Saint Anthony. Every time I lost something I’d call on Saint Anthony and I would find what I had lost. Never stopped doing it. Is this Saint Anthony somehow connected to the ability to help people finding their belongings? I was wondering about him. Thanks 🙏🏻 May God bless you all ☦️🙏🏻
Hey Rick that’s a different Saint Anthony, Saint Anthony of Padua I believe. He was a Franciscan monk. Yes he’s specifically known for helping to find lost items. My fiancees father taught her to pray “Dear Saint Anthony please look around my ____ is lost and it must be found”.

Why i am a Christian, our country was follower of Christ before it was under Catholic church then Lutheran church was/is the main state church, 200 years ago we had philosophers like Kierkegaard, and 150 years ago we got many different denomination we act like teenage Christians and we are in deep trouble and many in the church do not know it.
I have followed Orthodox Church for for 3 years on internet, we have no OC.
I hope and pray OC will come.

Ok, he chooses to be a single man in the desert with God...why did he choose in his sister's stead? Did he not in this way disregard her free will that God bestowed upon her? Jesus would never tell someone to choose for another in such a cruel way. You can't force someone into God's embrace.

She would have been married off to some rich man she didn't know if Antony had just left her to the cares of her family.. uncles and cousins. ,I think. She would have been freer than later religious sisters perhaps monasticism had not begun yet.
