My ocd, the center piece not completely covering the surface below..painted part being visible, bothers me. Also, these parts are called cooling plates. What or how do they provide cooling? I remember the old days, there weee center cooling plates which had a gap below or on top that supposedly directed air over the top of the radiator. This looks more like “cool” plates vs cooling.
Very insightful, pretty appalled that they would actually want/require the customer to drill just to enlarge a hole in order to install a cosmetic piece... For a company like APR you'd think they could come up with more elegant solutions like yours. It's also a tad disappointing that they didn't have the foresight to make the pieces possibly fit better with aftermarket parts, considering most if not all potential customers for an engine bay shroud probably have some mods especially an intake. I hope they come up with a revised design in the future, because it's really beautiful but such a shame. I would've definitely gotten it.
Great review. Cheers 🍻
Thank you, more to come!

Good points, I agree!

Totally agree
@@carsavant maybe send them feedback, could get a new iteration produced
@@davidd7175will do! I’ve known them for many years. We had our APR sponsored widebody Sti on the cover of modified magazine way back in 2010.
