Matchday Vlog from Weavers Park as Drogheda United got the point to officially keep them up. A point however for Derry City is a blow to their title aspirations.
Also a quick word on Drogheda Uniteds future investment, ban from the Shamrock Rovers game and Derry City’s plans for a new 3k seater stand.

As a Shels fan im happy to see Drogs staying up, so many of our former players over there and a great manager in Doherty, as you say they are punching well above their weight, look forward to the away trip at the end of the season there and the away trips next season, well done Drogs
Drogheda and Kevin Doherty have been magnificent this season. We (Rovers) have struggled against them all season and I am sure the game in Tallaght in two weeks will be no different. Well done to Drogheda this season! Derry had so much chances and to be honest should have scored. Derry for me have been too inconsistent this season, played some lovely football, but to win the league you need to win ugly. By contrast Rovers haven't been great this season, but have ground out results and to be fair have had a rub of the green regarding results elsewhere!

Regarding the ban of the Drogheda fans, I agree Keith, very harsh on the vast majority of Drogheda fans who are sound! It is also less revenue for Rovers and will add to less of an atmosphere at the game in Tallaght. Throwing stuff at officials is stupid and these lads should be outed, not real fans in my book! Abusing the officials/linos doesn't help your team; in many ways it is totally counterproductive, you risk the officials ruling against your team in my opinion!?

Not only have you punished fans who did not throw anything you have now also punished Shamrock Rovers who are at the loss of away ticket sales income .
