Will theatres buy the cinema for x amount of rupees? Say if a single screen theatre purchases a film for Rs 10 lakhs, then when should they share the box office collection with distributor. After collecting their 10 lakh and there after share with the distributor or should they share it from initial collection onwards..

What if someone wants to release the film on there own , like some specific theatre he want to rent , is there any criteria for that ?
I m asking from a low budget film making or lets say art film genre ,

I have question, suppose a distributor has sold his movies to sub distributor/theatre owner..... and how he can simply trust collection amount from theater owner...he can sell 100 tickets and can inform to distributor that, he sold by only 10...he can keep remaining 90 tickets money with him....how this part is handled/controlled?
