Thank you. I'm at least able to function normally again. Waiting for it to warm up a little bit more and then I'll get you back on the water again. Hopefully you'll feel up to it. I appreciate you watching!
Great video, those practice days are important. They help to keep the skills sharp and start to learn new techniques. Glad you’re feeling better, hope to see you at the Shelby lake tournament… I bet you thought it was a 10lber when that bowfin hit.
Thank you! I'm very much looking forward to Shelby lake, I'm hoping to get there next weekend on the Bass Raider for a little scouting. I've fished Middle Lake a few times while camping, but never ventured over to Shelby. Yeah, when that bowfin first hit, I thought it was a really nice bass. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Thank you very much! I just subscribed to your channel and watched the ned rig video. I've never fished that kind of lure before because I didn't know how to rig it or what situations to fish it. Thank you for the explanation and demonstration!
Oh? It sounds like you've got some real problems! You had a cold snap that drove you indoors! You got sick and missed out on a little fishing! You only caught a few fish in this video!!! Well, maybe you should move to New England where we haven't been fishing FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS. I've been freezing my bits off lately yet somehow, even if I wanted to go ice fishing, the ice isn't even safe! I'm actually excited about the horrible cold snap coming up this week so I can go drill a hole in the ice, freeze near to death, and maybe drag a sluggish bluegill up to the surface. Ha! I'm totally kidding by the way. Your videos are like a ray of sunshine through the bleak northern snow storms up here. Glad to see you catching some fish. For what it's worth, you seem apologetic for not catching any monsters but it's the process more than the results that interests me. Keep the videos coming!
OMG I laughed so hard reading your comment aloud to my wife! 🤣 I guess when you put it that way I don't really have any problems after all 😂 the mental image of a comatose bluegill put us both over the edge. I kinda am a little apologetic for not doing better, cause I don't want to bore people to death. But you're right, it really is the process and the practice that matters most. Thank you for watching and for the laughs. You don't know just how much I appreciate you! Keep those bits warm and stay safe my friend!
Dude you’ve got a pretty good setup. Man, the underspin is something I’m really trying to get better with - I know it’s a great tool. I’m REALLY good at losing spinners and cranks…. Lol. We’re twins as far as the PDL! Though you have more fun mods from Nick over at NKF.
Thanks man! Looking forward to seeing your next tournament. Hopefully I can learn more by watching your strategy and you do a good job of talking through what you are doing and looking for.
Welcome back my friend ! Glad to see you are feeling better. Great video ! Stay safe !
