    Always loved the playfield color scheme of this table. The leds really brought it to life. Great job. Loved that touch of the blinking lights behind the blackglass for the fireworks. 👍

      It’s a great game! Certainly a keeper if you ever get an opportunity.

    I'm amazed at the overall 'dark purple' look of the playfield in the first 5 seconds of the video. Did you do something special to create that effect, or does it have that on its own once the LEDs are in place?

      I just realized it's your spotlights that are doing that. My guess is you used Comet's alligator clip option to power them up. May I ask what you connected the alligator clips to?

      Part of the effect is from adding spot lights down on the slings to light up the center playfield. I can’t recall if I used Comet’s “Op Max” purple bulbs or cool white there, but pretty sure it was purple. Other than that, the lower section is lit with cool white LEDs and a trough light. There is a little trial and error involved, and personal taste. This game was one that I was particularly pleased with how it looked when all done, with all the extra lights in other spots and full LEDs everywhere.

      Sorry, just saw your added post. I did use Comet’s lights and sockets. I don’t really like using the alligator clips; not that they are bad but I prefer to cut off the clips and solder them to existing sockets for a more secure connection. I think I just connected them to the lights already on the slings. The game is a couple hours away from me at Pinball Garage in Hamilton Ohio so I can’t verify at the moment.

      Thanks for your reply! I guess you have to solder them to lights that are always on (like the slingshot lights). I also like the spotlight you placed behind the left ramp that points towards the ball. Any tips on how to solder the spotlights are welcome, I guess I'm afraid to mess things up 😅

      @@whipy9203 it might be a good idea to use the alligator clips to initially hook up the spot lights to existing sockets so that you can verify the added lights work how you intend them to. Honestly, the clips are ok and you might want to just leave them that way. But if after you’ve hooked them up and confirmed all is good, you could go back and solder them in.

    Well done, wow ! Can you link me that Bumper LEDs? Would appreciate it.

      Thanks. The pop bumper LEDs are from Comet Pinball. I went with the cyan color top/cool bottom ring lights. www.cometpinball.com/products/pop-bumper-rings

    Just bought this table and I really like your light setup. are you using red or pink in the WORLDCUP letters?

    • @LeebosPinball
      @LeebosPinball  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Congrats man! It’s a fantastic game. The lights in WORLDCUP are clear red 2smd bulbs from Comet Pinball.

      @@LeebosPinball so basically you put the same color LEDs as the insert plastic color?

    • @LeebosPinball
      @LeebosPinball  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TrailHunger yes, for the most part. I color match LEDs to insert color for red, green and blue, but for yellow inserts, I use warm white or cool white. The yellow LEDs are just not bright for some reason, so they don’t work too good for inserts. The purple lights in the spotlights I added are Comet’s “op max” bulbs.

      Haha… yeah, it’s nice and bright. There is something that gets a little over exaggerated in the videos for some reason. Definitely better in person and not quite as a color bomb.
