- Finally managed to get a Jeff playthrough uploaded, and it's a no continue run too.
Jeff is the 3rd playable character, and has some of the flashiest combos so far, as I tried to demonstrate when I could in this run.

WOW! Your run is extremely impressive!! Especially doing it on 1 continue! Hell its better than mine on certain levels. You have the knife play definitely down pat. I always had trouble doing the stab dive, dive kick stab dive, dive kick to infinity. You've definitely mastered the Brutality combo. You did it precisly 10 times during the video! I have trouble pulling that off as consistently as you do. Its really impressive. And MY GOD I didn't know that freaking dive kick was practically an infinite! lol. The way you juggled Steve was incredible!!! You can carry an enemy across the stage and back with a dive kick and the backwards aerial throw.
I'm absolutely going to add what your doing to my big book of combos for Jeff. It may not be too practical, but its very spectacular. Oh and its interesting that your KI starter knocked the biker off. I haven't tried it with Jeff or Jimmy, but Billy's still freezes the bike. So there's that. I noticed how the Abobo family was good at kicking your ass. They are good at kicking my ass too. Especially the Metalhead looking one Bolo. lol You handled the "Challenge" wave the same way I handled Challenge mode in LOTDD; go from side to side doing KI Combos lol! I really enjoy watching you play man. I always learn something from you. Your the only other person I know that plays this game in a masterful way. Cheers! - Nick
Thanks for watching man! Glad I shared some new tech with you, and showcased Jeff well here. Yeah, the knife combos are a little strange rythm wise, I find doing run jump, up punch quickly then mashing kick helps, but I guess the hard part is getting the run jump again after landing. Yeah, that brutality.... took me a good few hours to actually do the first time around, but I have it down now. It kinda helps I used to play UMK3 back in the day though haha.
Oh lord, the dive kick. it was just as potent in LOTDD, but without a run, it was hard to use out of a corner. In UDD, Jeff can abuse the shit out of it, and combo in and out of dive kick loops. Reminds me alot of Kung Lao. The air back throw is good, but it uses juggle points (it lands 4 times like the standard kick) so you need to count your hits if you want to get the most out of it.
Yeah, as for the Abobo family, I get you man. From what I've played, I'm noticing its quite hard to juggle any of them with certain moves, and the blocking is constant, but yet certain setups work great on them. Mauri got Abobo down to a tee perfect if you ask me, cant wait to see the new linda in action. DD2 Metalhead Abobo seems to be the most dangerous and scary one if you ask me haha, I seem to be able to deal with O'Hara easier, despite that awesome shoulder charge. It might be that Metalhead has a anti air, and the other Abobo's dont, and I do like jumping...
Anyway, Thanks again for watching man, and the praise. To be fair dude, I learned a few tricks from your videos too, so It's good what goes around comes around. Look forward to some training videos soon, ill show you some of the patented "super flashy never get to use em in single player because they either die or there is no corner" combos for Jeff.
