I agree with you on using nail guns. We often use a 23 gauge pin nailer when doing finish work too. No need for clamps and the pins are easy to hide. Your favorite tool videos are good because it makes me think the basics again.
I have this stapler. It’s stopped working and sounds like the air is coming out of the top of the head. It’s not firing. I’ve only used it twice. Any ideas how to fix?
Just found this vid. I have the same tool, and it is overdriving nails. I can get a couple decent shots, and then it starts leaving marks, about 1/4 inch wide. The manual's troubleshooting states it is either a bumper (part # 94) or piston spacer that is worn. The remedy is discard the gun.
I have one exactly like that, 15+ years old and going to use it for the first time tomorrow XD... I'm hoping it's not going to jam much. Oiled it and have a water catcher on it.
What's the name of your stapler that's no longer available? And the link to a similar air stapler you posted is no longer available. Do you have another stapler you'd recommend? Thanks!
Hello friend, I bought a sally air nail gun, after using it for a month, it blew air from the top, but after checking it, I couldn't figure out the problem. If you were a professional, what would you recommend?
You can buy inline oilers but I don't use them. I just drip a couple of drops of air tool oil into the inlet before I attach the air line each time and that works well for me. I only use it for short periods of time.
