Great video by Jaaksfilms of an excellent meet. Good work by the organizer too in bringing this gathering together. A classic BMW design that only gets better with age & a head turner whenever these cars are seen on the road.
If I could make a suggestion. When you’re presented with the opportunity to film a rare and beautiful CAR, why not include footage of it in your video and simply play the owner’s commentary as a voice over? Rather than make a post a video that claims to be about a rare and beautiful BMW but contains extensive footage of some portly guy just rambling on about it.
There is no such thing as an 840CSi. The 850CSi was the only E31 available in CSi trim which has a manual 6-Speed box, floating discs and ATE brakes, not the Brembos on the 840. The CSi also came standard with rear wheel steering which was a VERY expensive option on the other trims. It also came with bespoke, lowered suspension as standard over the other cars, tuned by AC Schnitzer. It also had the "M" spec 5.6 V12, again bespoke to the CSi.
A gathering of excellent copies of the beloved E31. Unfortunately, in Brazil there are few bmw E31, so making a meeting like this is not easy. Currently, the series 8, E31, has received greater recognition than in the past. Thanks for the video.

Yes you're right. The 8 series is starting to get recognised more in the past couple of years. 👍🏼

I think the owner made an error..he did own a 850csi too..guess not a camera guy and pressure got to him.
840i was never available as csi. only the 850i was available as csi. the 840 however was available as CS
