I learned that technique from Jackie as well, has been using it with great effect. The dusting of the powder after the semi baking, I use that trick as well and it helps especially as I have fine lines. Claim your work gurl 💃🏿💃🏿... The "E-girl" look can be soft or dark, when it is soft, they use blush to portray an anime character that is blushing or faux freckles. Dark looks would include more paler colors if that makes sense. Honestly, pinterest has the perfect examples.
I feel this idk if I’m older (mid twenties) but make up tik tok doesn’t impress me? Like I feel like every “hack” “trick” I already knew cause of my person background in cosmetology slash my obsession with TH-cam beauty gurus for the last decade lol
I'm in my mid 40s and feel the same about all the "new" tips and tricks youtubers post. They're all just recycled techniques as looks go in and out of style. Tik Tok just happens to be the way that the younger set is communicating them out as THEY discover them, just like youtubers are for their target audience.

I got a lot of these tips from Robert Welsh. Especially the concealer on the inner corner and outer corner. I adapted your technique of putting the concealer that was more my skin tone in the center due to having dark circles and being Casper pale 🤣 I love your content and how you can make education fun ❤

I loveeeeeeeee those drops. They are so underrated. It’s perfect for the summer because as a sweater, it doesn’t separate and cake up. It amuses me a bit that blush on the nose is suddenly a trend, I've been doing it for YEARS because I have a pretty rosy complexion and I feel like it looks better when I'm wearing makeup if I do it. I also hit my chin and my temples for the same reason. I get compliments on how I'm "glowing".

Same! I have brown skin but I love the natural flushed look it gives it ties in the whole face together!
@@BunniB29 Yes, cream blush really melts into the skin for that naturally flushed look. I sometimes add powder blush after my foundation and powder if I'm wearing some full coverage products.

there’s a reason why I don’t really use models on my channel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’ve moved on from technical “how-to” type of content like that for years now because I don’t really enjoy it and I like doing my own thing. I would suggest checking out beauty youtubers who have textured skin too or freelance artists who are a bit more hands on, like painted by spencer, hindash, etc

When I did my own makeup for my outdoor wedding in 2019 (blazing hot day in June) I did the setting spray between a lot of steps and my makeup was perfect all damn day!! Same for my sisters wedding last July in Florida. Got so many compliments on not only the makeup itself but the fact that I was not sweating my makeup off.
