At Rock Hill Farm and Homes we upload new videos at least 3 times per week, about our 20 Acre hobby farm, our John Deere 2038R compact tractor and other equipment, and the businesses that we run.
These businesses include a manufacturing operation, a Christmas tree farm, real estate investing, a lawn care business, and an online retail store. I demonstrate how I am able to use these ventures to earn a good living without a traditional job.
We have some cool toys and always think outside the box on our little homestead so come along for the ride.
You can expect new videos from us every other day, usually around 8 AM.

I’m more impressed you were able to get that lumber for $12!
Lol sounds cheap
Fits like a glove. Lol.
Quick, simple fix. Thanks for watching my friend
The simple solutions are always best
Agreed
Thanks for watching
Simply brilliant! Hugs to Y'all
Thanks 🙂
That's pretty slick. I'll have to replicate that. Thanks!
Thanks.
Buckin Billy ray....all things chainsaws
Cutting wood is like breathing For that guy. Love his energy
Great idea, Brock. You solved a problem with a simple and cheap solution. Very well done sir!
Thanks
Great idea Brock! Your channel is rapidly becoming one of my favorites! Sometimes people over engineer a solution to a problem. Simple is good! Specially for lunkheads like myself... lol
Yeah, sometimes I over complicated things but this one I think will work out great
Thanks for watching
I did the same thing with six chain saws. I went to Home Depot, went inside, and when I came out the chain saws were still there, but the 4x4's were gone! Just kidding, but I couldn't help myself. Lumber is still so expensive! I enjoyed the video. Your explanations are very good. Carry on, my friend!
Great minds think alike…and apparently so do ours 😉
Thanks for watching
Awesome solution for ongoing problem Brock.👏
Thanks
I use a big rummermaid and then I put all my chainsaw stuff in there.... saw, oil, gas, files, and if you use them helmet and chaps, this way if it rains it keeps everything out of the weather too, and everything is in one bucket to move from your truck to shop to wherever.

Great solution! Keep this coming!
Have a great week!
Thanks
Great solution! I even like it for shelf storage. Once a raccoon got in the barn and knocked off the bar oil next to the saws.
Thanks for watching. I thought about setting it up in my equipment shed
All the loggers I worked with would run a 2 by 6 across the top of the box right behind the back window cut your Notch through it with the chainsaw stick your saws straight up and down made more room in the Box for things

I was once doing a project and needed 4 six foot 4×4's. I called the lumber yard and a young man answered and I told him what I needed. He informed me that they only carried 8 foot and 12 foot lengths, but were out of the 8 footers. I asked the price on the 12 footers and he quoted it to me. Then he said, "If you cut those, you're going to have a lot of scrap". "Yeah, I know", I said! 🤔🤭🤣
That’s funny.
I know the lumber yards better than the employees. The other day I was having plexiglass cut and the kid was adamant that they don’t do that
I couldn’t convince him so I had to go get somebody else.
Last year my local Lowe’s decided to rearrange the whole store. Drive me crazy walking around looking for stuff
I have steel O ring tie down points welded in the tray of my ute and I have a 6mm chain running across from ring to ring with locks on it. I just lock my saws in with that. They can't slide forwards and they are safe when I go near a town.
Sounds good
Sweet be nice to make it into a self contained pallet so you can take it in and out easily with your forks on tractor.
That would be a good Solution as well
Good idea. I've been visualizing something similar but hoping to take up a little less room in the truck and thinking about alternating the saws so one goes bar forward and the next goes bar toward the back.
Good idea. Thanks for watching
You need three Stihl's and one DeWalt to do the work of one Husky, haha.
That's a good one Brock , Speaking of easy solutions.... if you come across an easier ( one man) way to remove and store an auger / post hole digger from your John Deere please share !
..I struggle with mine.
Thanks for the " Quick fix^ !
pc
I will have to give that one some thought. I have a post hole digger from tractor supply and I hate taking it on and off
I have my auger strapped to a tree about three foot off the ground but it is still a challenge. Ya got to be carefull that the swing arm doesn't flop around and hit you in the head. 😊
Buckin' Billy Ray Smith uses a log round wedged into the bed - look cool and costs nothing. Bob in Nevada PS: storing tools in a truck bed these days makes you look like a "Walk In and Walk Out Home Depot" for a MobRob
Thanks for sharing. I definitely won’t leave them in there unless I have the bed cover on
Isn't this overly complicated for those of us with just one saw?
Probably so. I was trying to make the simplest possible thing but generally if I take a Saw I take at least 2
