Ian, you are so right. Me and the hubby have been together 24 years, we laugh at each other and ourselves all the time and spend Friday nights watching Dry Bar - dunno, but laughter seems to neutralize all the other not-so-good stuff in life.

The funniest DryBar comic in a while
Too bad the crowd was a bit dull. Some of the jokes had to be explained, which is a bit of a mood killer, especially for a stand up comedian. I’m sure she didn’t enjoy seeing confused faces in the crowd and not hearing loud reaction to her hilarious jokes.
She’s amazing.

I was just thinking the same thing. Others try way too hard, and aren't genuinely funny. Just clones. She's hilarious, though. Love the way her mind works. I also love Tax Deduction. It's like she's a long lost relative.

Your joke delivery is Perfect! I've laughed out loud at everything you have done BUT what makes this particular performance truly stand out to me is that, at some point there, a joke or two hadnt landed well and you were losing the audience but you never faltered. You just kept pouring it on and it was Fabulous. You got them all back and landed the show! Well done. More please!!

I reluctantly watched bc most of the time females aren't really that funny TO ME.. BUT I was invested rather quickly and it just got better the whole time. Needless to say I'm pleasantly surprised with her performance! I will not hesitate to watch more of her😁

Studies have been done, and on average, men are funnier than women.
"Looking at the results of various studies in which people were asked to rate men and women’s humour - without knowing their sex first - they found that 63 per cent of men were funnier than the average woman."
That's 63 to 37 percent....
Now, that doesn't mean a random woman won't be funnier than a random man, but on average, a LOT more men are considered funny than women.
They think it might be because, evolutionarily speaking, women had the job of raising kids. Always had to keep an eye out for danger and such.
Whereas men, going out and attacking large mean things with sticks, and experiencing all the violence and injuries, probably developed their humor to help with the horrors and stress.
Having your friend gored to death by an animal, and then having to clean the carcass, with your dead friend laying right there, and then carrying them both back to camp, which would be many hours away, would probably be stressful.
