It's an endless cycle of abuse. I wouldn't be surprised if her parents were abused as well. No one is born a bad person, no one is born to abusive either... even with a mental illness people wouldn't kil or harm others if they were brought up right. It's sad, but things are slowley changing...
When looking at these cases of homicidal maniacs, the one thing I take away is: Report ANY signs of child abuse to authorities. Sure, not every kid that's subjected to such "parenting" becomes a murderer, but it shows how much abuse/neglect distorts a child's soul and mind. Then again, often enough authorities ARE AWARE of the circumstances in a child's home, and don't do anything to stop it... or put them in foster families despite knowing the couple to be drug addicts...

Yeah I do. Just thinking that this killings could of been prevented, that person could have been saved from becoming deranged if they had been saved from that torture as a child. It's sad thinking about how easily it could of all been avoided if a child could of been saved, ya know?
I never really said I feel bad. Plenty of people have shitty childhoods and turn out to be good people. Just saying it's sad thinking it could of been prevented if children weren't abused or could more easily get away from abuse. I was abused clear up until I was 19, first my family then my now ex husband who I met when I was 16. But I took a different path. Instead of making others suffer, I try to keep people from experiencing what I did. He made me have children but I couldn't give them up, I kept my kids and raise them on my own doing my best to teach them to be better people than where they came from. Aileen Wuornos has always been my favorite serial killer to research on. Her story is just so...fucked up. However I am disappointed that Rob didn't mention she only said "I killed and robbed them in cold blood." because she said that was just what the families wanted to hear. She truly believed (whether or not it's true) that they were going to hurt her and she acted in self defense. More towards the end of her life, she became more and more mentally unstable, claiming that they (whoever "they" were) were sending signals into her brain to control her.

mjstory1976 I saw it but in the movie she was a real victim of awful men and absent motherhood or female figure etc., the rape scene is real happened? all the brutality she had I try to understand but then her main trigger which was[?
This a good example of why some people should not be allowed to have children. It was not that many years ago that a King had to approve all marriages.
Come on Aileen, Oh, please do not kill me (don't kill me) At this moment... I think you're crazy. Red bloodstained dress. Oh my thought, I confess, Help me mommy (help me), Oh dear God, Aileen! Sorry, I had to. Song's just to catchy :P
Am I the only one who responds to Rob by his name while he's talking throughout the episodes? Hahaha love the material and presentation, professional and engaging, thanks man!
I usually just listen to these videos, and since my name is also Aileen, I keep looking at the screen under the assumption that I am being mentioned :P
Took a bit of scrolling before I saw the obligatory upthumbed (paraphrased) comment of "She said those men raped her, therefore they did, and they deserved it." Ugh. Such stupidity is why I hope I never end up at the mercy of a jury - being a man Ill be assumed guilty of the crime before having a chance of defending myself. Defendant is sitting on the other side of the prosecution therefore he did something to put himself there. Ask any cop or prosecutor they will all admit that juries tend to think that way
Honestly, after watching a ton of documentaries on Aileen, I get the feeling that only the first guy she killed raped her. After that, she was killing because it felt good to release all the pent up anger. The extra money probably helped a lot, too.
Hey man, sorry if my misinformation comment on the Deep Web video was one of the things that caused you to remove it. I know you work really hard on making these great. Keep up the brilliant work.
I'm not sure why but I've always felt a connection to Aileen's story, even though I have never been through the shit she had to go through. I feel like I could've listened to her talk for hours, She had such a dark and crazy but interesting viewpoint on the world. and while my heart goes out to all of the families affected by her killings, and I don't condone murder by the way but I hope she does finally get peace in the afterlife, all she needed was love and help with her mental health. We wouldn't be watching this video today if she had those two things.
i have a lot of sympathy for this woman, she had the worst life imaginable. yes she became a killer, but also was such a victim. the whole saga is tragic.
Rob, please make more "Seriously Strange" I loved those! The good ones that is, if you can't come up with more, then just make part II of the old ones, like the torture one, or the one about evil women or killer children. I love it when you go sinister!
Thank you for the impeccable narration; it was a pleasure to listen to you. Yes, it was a very sad case, to be unwanted by her parents, then disowned by her grandparents. I suppose everyone reacts differently to bad situations, and Aileen wasn't able to get through it all and come out the other end as a rational person. Not condoning her killing anyone, but I think it is understandable.
did anyone watch the video that he's recently deleted? I watched it last night with the thought of "i can take a lot of sick shit". I didn't realise how sick it would be. @@gooby4537 Do we feel sorry for them all? Pedos, racist, bigots, cheaters, women beaters etc..... I'm sure 85% of them had horrible childhoods too.
was this the woman that the serial killer from monster was based on?
Yes
Cool.
Great Movie
mjstory1976 I saw it but in the movie she was a real victim of awful men and absent motherhood or female figure etc., the rape scene is real happened? all the brutality she had I try to understand but then her main trigger which was[?
Yeah
Hey Rob I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy these videos and the mystery stuff too. Good job and your voice is awesome! ^~^
Well, there's a Twisted Tens for ya. Ten Women Executed in the US. Love the stuff you and your crew do, Rob. Fantastic work!
This a good example of why some people should not be allowed to have children. It was not that many years ago that a King had to approve all marriages.
Are you saying to bring that back? Because this is a terrifying statement that I don't think you realize what that really means.
Yeah I really don’t Fucking think that’s a good idea
Come on Aileen,
Oh, please do not kill me (don't kill me)
At this moment... I think you're crazy.
Red bloodstained dress.
Oh my thought, I confess,
Help me mommy (help me),
Oh dear God, Aileen!
Sorry, I had to. Song's just to catchy :P
Stopwhitepeople2k15
+丂凵尸 长工囗丂 racist
+CoastersNGames because enjoying 80's alternative is such a white thing. also 10/10 on the song. would quietly sing in library again
What's the song called?
+fart bucket I assume Come on Aileen or just "Aileen" its 80's so just start searching there.
I always thought that people who defended her were fools but now i understand the apeal
I'm loving the editing in your intro its so good I'm an editor but I could never be able to do that like that's goals😫😍😍
Dang. . . Jeff Knight's editing; smooth as silk.
5th grade teacher...okay to my what's your summer essay on
Me..let's open the serial killer files
this was a sad story from beginning to end :(
I'm surprised no one mentioned AHS yet...
Rosytherivetgun I was looking for that lol
Is there a character of this woman on AHS? What season
Devils night was as an amazing ep
@@VlogsByJoli if you have Netflix got to season 5 ep 4 and you’ll see her :)
Took a bit of scrolling before I saw the obligatory upthumbed (paraphrased) comment of "She said those men raped her, therefore they did, and they deserved it."
Ugh.
Why was this uploaded earlier and then taken down?
i wonder
Makes sense.
Thats... Seriously Strange
Yeah.
I guess you could say the video unexplainably disappeared. O__o
Love the uploads Rob. Great work 👌
i have a lot of sympathy for this woman, she had the worst life imaginable. yes she became a killer, but also was such a victim. the whole saga is tragic.
I can't say I'm a fan of the visual editing in this episode. It's not bad in any way but it doesn't suit the series.
Please do one on The Vampire of Sacramento! He was an intriguing one..
Rob, please make more "Seriously Strange" I loved those! The good ones that is, if you can't come up with more, then just make part II of the old ones, like the torture one, or the one about evil women or killer children. I love it when you go sinister!
the thumbnail pic is EVERYTHING!!! lmao
So many times someone could have helped this poor girl. The system failed her but borderline? No she was 100% fucked up and crazy
Wait, isn't the movie Monster starring Charlize Theron based on this?
Exactly
How do we find out details about a serial killer's childhood?
Love the movie "Monster" and also just found out some stuff I never knew about Thanks Rob for keeping me updated 👍👍
"...Grand Theft Auto and..."
*Head Snaps up* GTAVVVVV
No, GTA IV

What happened to your video you put up today about the dark net? I loved it and wanted to show my friends.
they need to ask fo a refund, obviously they were victims of exaggeration, i'd pay her to leave.
didn't you uploaded this earlier?
Rob, what happened to your most recent video about the deep web?
Great that you actually do research... Very interesting thank you for show
did anyone watch the video that he's recently deleted? I watched it last night with the thought of "i can take a lot of sick shit". I didn't realise how sick it would be. As i have a 7 month old baby girl it ruined me for a good few hours. I know horrible things happen but jesus. It made me hug my daughter so tight! I don't know how you talked about it Rob.
Please do one about Lars-Inge Svartenbrandt.
He is the worst criminal in Sweden. (He and some others is the history of the term: Stockholm Syndrome)
Hey man, please make a serial killer file on Henry Lee Lucas!
Love the show :)
Male serial killer comments: what a monster. This disgusted me.
