@@jayystruction mate, since 2018 we've released 2 full Albums, an EP (a total of 24 new songs) plus remastered our first album for its 10 year anniversary, remixed and remastered this for its 15 year anniversary and are now in the studio again as we speak.
New album? Damn, I just found their "where only gods may tread" yesterday and I was very much impressed. I don't have that often that when I hear an album I instantly after or even during the hearing know, I am buying this. But that album was one of those. Now I am curious AF for this next album!
@@Compendyum No clue. I'm generally not buying any CD's. Rarely. Only if I REALLY want their stuff and there REALLY is *no* other way. But their stuff is on bandcamp, so I assume this will be too. In which case I will be buying ASAP.
Yeah this is a remaster of their first EP so it's way more on the slam side of things. I agree though, where only gods may tread was a fucking banger album.
@@TheMetalTempestYT yeah i agree, its definitely an improvement. Im liking the trend of some of these bands re-recording old material, it usually turns out great
@@michaelpurnell5203 Yeah! It can depend on the band, for sure, and if the release in question particularly benefits from a better production or more lo-fi production but I think Ingested with good production sounds great. Ingested lo-fi ends up sounding like a stereotypical slam band, lol.
To me it really defeats the purpose if all the awesome real live drums from the original are just sample replaced to shit,,,, the raised guitars in this are nice but this is basically just the split songs with the same mixing and plastic-ish drums of Surpasisng the Boundaries it’s pretty pointless imo… But regardless it’s still kind of impressive that they were able to preserve the guitar & drum tracks of a couple songs they did for a split 15 years ago, i’d expect most bands to have lost these by now.
Strange mix on this one. The guitars are very thin. And every drum is too “up front”, if ya know what I mean. Amazing musicianship. I just don’t like the mixing.
right, Take the drumming down a notch and get the guitar higher in the mix.And the bass is almost non existent. The band is talented as F*ck, but the remaster doesn't do them justice.
This is a remaster of the first ep, not a new album or ep
Yes, yes it is
Not Necessary 😐
@@jayystruction for you
I Love The Old Versions And I Think The Band Should Be Making New Songs And Not Remastering

Ingested's first album is one of my favorites ever. So glad we get to hear more of their old sound now
EP's, remasters, new albums... always nice to see the slam kings going overtime.

Yes, but these CD+Vinyl releases are getting old by the day. What is the point of these releases that cannot be purchased individually?

It's one of their first EP's rerecorded :)
it's a remastered debut EP
Yeah this is a remaster of their first EP so it's way more on the slam side of things. I agree though, where only gods may tread was a fucking banger album.

wasn't it already been released last year? I remembered I've listened it last year.
erotic depravity was released as a single in 2019, and then they introduced the ep in november with butchered and devoured
The intro is bliss. Hail Satan!

What yall need is an mp3 with good equilizer, and sufficient tone mixer
Remants? Copromesis? 🤔🤔🤔
Not Necessary Remake This EP 🙄
There was only a limited press of the split? So I mean should we limit it to those original pressings or make available for everyone who wants it?
Some of its catchy but a lot of it is just a mangled mash
Did you even hear the original of these songs? This is pop music compared to the original versions
