@@apguitar8075 I wouldn’t say more talented than him i’ve been playing for about 1.4 years and I learn a lot of tech death, (I play an 8 string). I feel if I attempted this I could learn it, but it would take a long time for sure! Definitely not more talented but motivation and confidence is key.

Hey Justin, you did a really good job breaking it down like this. You are doing lord's work here. I'm not even a musician or a guitar player and I stayed for the entire lesson haha even rewatched some segments. If you do another one of Jason's, make it Mabel's Fatal Fable and you will become a legend. That one is really good and I haven't seen any lessons on it, especially as elaborate as yours. I know you said you don't do the tremolo but who knows, maybe you can turn it into a longer-term project and work it out. It should be fun and rare. EDIT: Ohh I see you've done the picking excercise based on it. Maybe it will become a lesson one day later just like Altitudes sweep section ;)

Justin, do you think Jason Becker was using more economy picking or alternate picking? In the clinic at the Carvin booth where him and Marty are playing in very clean tunes, Jason’s right hand doesn’t look to be moving all that much. It looks like more economy picking.
