Thanks for this teardown I was wandering what battery it has inside. Very nice detailed teardown like all your videos. The best on TH-cam. Most appreciated.
After I bought Anker Flare Mini I was so impressed with the sound quality I decided to get another one when I was on the road overseas for the rest of the trip. Unfortunately shop did not have Flare Mini but Flare 2 only. More power and just slightly bigger. You are completely right about the sound quality drop when it goes louder. Not only that I found a smaller Flare Mini has better quality on lower levels too. When you hide them in the corner of your room out of sight, there is a wow effect from your visitors when you show them where the sound is coming from. And Flare Mini has a higher wow effect than Flare 2. Thanks again for this upload.

I'd be happy if I could just pick a non-flashing solid color, dim it and use it for a calming night light. I have zero interest in flashing light effects.

It's supposed to be Bluetooth 5.0. There's a big difference in power too. The Flare was 12W I believe, the Flare 2 is 20W. So the amp and possibly the speakers are different.

I bought one used. And top power button is missing. There's a 1 cm hole. And the silver square button pad is missing. Does anyone have a suggestion for place to just purchase one square replacement power switch that I solder in and then seal the hole with hot glue?. Because the base is horrible with the air coming out of that hole.

Mine won't charge. I could wiggle chord and get it to but started taking longer and longer to charge. Now if I wiggle the chord it just turns on and won't charge. Any ideas
