從台北到宜蘭的夜間騎摩托車行中發現了百步蛇。
The first night of my long, 2 week wildlife expedition from Taipei to Hualien, to Taitung, to Kaohsiung.
我從台北到花蓮、到台東、再到高雄的長途野生動物探險的第一個晚上。
每次看影片都非常享受，真是賺翻了，像我們這種住在水泥叢林，靠回憶兒時記憶懷念大自然的人來說，每個紀錄影片都十分珍貴，感謝大帥哥

Thanks. They usually stay in the curb, but better to be safe than sorry. I have seen a few rare species flat on the road this year.

I also have seen dried flats, accompanied with some flatted butterflies as those butterflies were attracted by carrion😢
I call them Snob Snakes for their upturned nose.

I really hope to introduce more wild reptiles that are toxic and not toxic to the public to avoid indiscriminate killing
That is what I hope to achieve too. Try to reach as many people as possible. It is nice to hear from people who have learned that snakes are not terrifying monsters. People can also feel more comfortable out in nature that way too.
百步蛇又稱五步蛇、七步蛇。蝰科蝮亞科尖吻蝮屬=尖吻蝮(嘴巴上翹像要親吻一樣所以叫尖吻)。劇毒蛇，蛇毒主要成分：類凝血酶(造成被咬傷口出血+傷口腫脹血疱+消耗性凝血病)，體型越大注毒液量越大。身體兩側呈正三角形花紋，幼體、亞成體顏色較淡，成體顏色變深。視頻中這隻是成體，因為路上有車經過，所以視頻主去驅趕蛇，這種行為是危險的，最好不要學習。看見蛇要遠離，勿驚擾，因為你不是牠的食物。

Yes, wouldn't want to be up in the hills today haha. I was in Yangmingshan on Friday night and got caught in some pretty heavy rain at the end of the night. Just the edge of the typhoon haha.

Yes, there are some hypocrites out there. But there are others who would think that long photo shoots are bad too. I mostly agree. What happened here was not really intentional, but it was careless. I think people are right to voice their opinions. Thanks for being supportive though.

@@wildlifejames 中国南方的深山老林里面的蛇特别多，品种也多。中国五步蛇颜色是褐色的。

我同意它不好，我很後悔。這是故意的挑釁，但並沒有任何讓蛇咬袋子的意圖。我只是想看看牠是否會再次在空中爆發。

it is illegal that you harassed a Deinagkistrodon acutus in your video. the snake could break its fang from biting your hook.
I agree, I shouldn't have done it, but I had not expected that. I was expecting it just to strike out snap its jaws, not bite. Seeing as it happened anyway, I decided to use it to demonstrate what a snake bite looks like. It does have some people upset though. However, aside from an ethical grey area, it didn't use much of its venom, nor was it hurt. It happened, it can't be undone, so why not show it. Though perhaps I should not have put it in the video.
