The situation in Ukraine, particularly in Donbas, Donetsk, and Luhansk brought me here. Though East Timor armed conflict back then seemed a bit similar with the Yugoslavian War during the 90s too because of independence and ethnicity

During the 90s, two wars from two continents have happened, In Europe ther was Yugoslavian War, and in Asia, the East Timor War. But there is only one similarity. It's about ethnicity🪖🪖

Actually this crisis is cause by a bunch of pro Indonesian militia that want to prevent Timor Leste by scorching Timor Leste. 3 years later Timor Leste manage to achieve independent however the pro Indonesian militia manage to destroy 80% of Timor Leste infrastructure and prevent us and their allies from giving humanitarian aids to Timor Leste. Meaning they failed to prevent Timor Leste from independent but they successfully make Timor Leste became unstable.
Fun fact:us and the allies lost 65 soldiers while the pro Indonesian militia somehow manage to only lost 15-19 fighter

This was years ago. Australia lead a UN force because Indonesia invaded East Timor in the 1970s and destabilised East Timor murdering innocent civilians and committing atrocious crimes against humanity. We didn't invade East Timor, we liberated them.

    Indonesian Lose??? 😂
    I laughed hearing this......😂
We didn't completely lose, this is an absolute victory.....
The real defeat is having to pay compensation due to the invasion, or getting economic sanctions from other countries.....
    But look now......
We never paid a penny of our money to compensate Timor Leste? 😂
And fortunately for us, that we can never be blamed or sued in a UN court....
All of these achievements are thanks to the referendum on independence that was elected by the people of Timor Leste! 😆
Thanks to their stupidity, we can be in the position of becoming an economic power......... We can also build facilities in our eastern region, without having to give money to Timor Leste...
Mr. Habibie is really a genius, He not only made Australia a scapegoat and blamed, but he also killed the future of Timor Leste indirectly........
Luckily Timor Leste is not too smart to realize that........ 😆
