Thanks for the video. Il mio problema è stato solo pulire il blu dei "Power Output" che nel tempo si sono leggermente offuscati, ....e questo video per me è stato utilissimo, ottimo lavoro grazie mille (Giuseppe - Padova/Venezia - Italy). 👌💪💪
Some tips may help others. Did a c2500. I used a dental pic to remove the o rings for the switches. To remove the blue film for meters I used fishing line and ran it underneath to separate the film from the glass.
@@幸運熊貓 I ordered from McIntosh, it should be possible through official local service too. McIntosh have print matrixes for most of their products, even historical, but wait time for producing can be months (they run old ones every now and then) :)
Almost all McIntosh glass will be damaged during transport. It’s a scam strategy ! The glass replacement should be supported free by McIntosh and not at the expense of the end users. Mine was also broken during transport that was even handled with utmost care. Luxman or Accuphase never had the same problem. Scrupulous business !! Dirty scam
Was your factory double-boxed? Mine had just interior box original, outside was something seller found somewhere - so it wasn't packed as intended by McIntosh. Still shipping company covered costs of parts (I've done replacement myself just to speed things up and I like fixing things).

Great video! Which double sided tape (brand/width) did you use to fasten the blue tinted glass to the faceplate? Thank you!
Thanks :) I used 3M or Tesa brand double sided tape, that „foam” type, not thin, since originally blu tinted panels weren’t touching glass.
ご苦労様でした。ハンドルはフレームのガラス面に取り付けられているんですね。
Thanks for the video. I have a mac6700 that has a broken front glass. I wonder if it is going to be relatively similar to the ma7000 to fix.
I think there should be similarities :) Good luck and don't rush job :)
Thank you for your sharing. Can you share where can you order the glass faceplate? Thanks.

@@peterfarbak601 hi, it might work for you, but I cannot guarantee, since I did only MA7000 :)

Wrong
Use the correct McIntosh box and you will never have glass problems
Nothing about this amp screams quality in my opinion.
I don't like this brand 😢
Sorry if you cannot afford McIntosh stick to lower brands
