I love the idea with the skin tank connection it saves all the hassle with long hoses
which I have on my boat, they’re always in the way when serving the engine, love job your doing.

Hi David I agree it is better with shorter hoses in the long run. Thanks for watching.

Beautiful job. Really coming on now. Those aquadrives make aligning the engine obsolete. Great music..cheers

Nice work Andy, and love an aqua drive system. I rekon the stainless pipe needs a bleed valve on top, it'll cause issues with over heating otherwise. Be nice to leave the stainless shiny.

Hi Darren, Thanks for the advice. On other boats I have seen the 2 tanks joined on the bottom fittings & also seen top to opposite bottom fitting. Which do you think is correct ?

@@nogunwales9406 typically the system flows out the engines hot, into one tanks top fitting, the flow comes out the bottom into the top of the second tank and then out the bottom to the water pump.
I've done it other ways but this is a proven method.
This is really taking shape, loving this progression. Be nice to see her one day

Should you use dial indicator to make sure shaft is turning true ahs you rotate it? Seems you would want to has close as possible. with engine output. didn't se that you mounted engine

Hi Andy I am really enjoying your build videos please could you advise me where I can get info on roof building as I did not see your process of the roof, I have an old Springer which came with a wooden top and I want to put a steel top on it but I cant find the info on the roof stiffeners and fitting process such as getting the stiffeners formed to size and bending the roof plate

Hi Mick, Sounds an interesting project you are on with. My boat was a wooden top that was plated over . I have the drawings for the new build roof & sides & will send you a copy . You roll the box section stiffeners & you simply pull the roof steel to them & stitch on. If you want them rolling I can supply them for you Please email me @ kewkie10@aol.com.
