Let’s be real here - Skiddler’s take was straight facts. One look at the combat and this game is obviously hot garbage. If you’re a skiller, then sure, but skillers will play anything as long as they can get dopamine from seeing a skill level go up.
@@themosthighvaluemaninthega9048 See you POV. I’m legit only going for PVP and if it’s dog shit I’ll quit. I’ll record the progress if you ever wanna see it
So far this game seems to be missing a purpose. A why to WHY am I grinding these levels. No goals in mind, no gear planned, no objectives other than figuring out what this game even is. This of course was also true with Runescape starting out. So far combat is boring AF. For skilling the returning to places to change whaty you are gathering / catching is kind of a decent idea in ways to keep an area relevant, the tasks themselves are not very entertaining, and the non AFK ness in comparison to RS means more attention is required. Which could be a good thing, if there was actually anything to pay attention to?? Overall I think it might need some serious time to know if this is going to become worth it or not.
Lastly the UI absolutely needs some fixes, but might not be too hard. Shopping is annoying. The inability to use a big map if you have the left side popped out is even worse, you have to pop in, then click to the map. The zooming/resolution in relation to the amount of screen space being used is off. I very much support the idea of trying to make things readable. I am neuro divergent and struggle with this, that being said THIS is not the correct answer. The scaling is so botched. If you are big enough to read, well you can't see the game itself. If you are smalll enough to see the game, well it's not clear what items you have (at least being unfamiliar with them currently, of course playing long term that would change)
Totally get it, it's hard to know what's really worth focusing on without seeing the full picture for PVM and PVP in the late game. Right now, my goal is to build the best PVP account I can, but the whole "META" is still unclear. We won't know if it's all going to pay off until we see more of how things develop. But as long as players are still logging in daily, it'll stay fun. If people stop playing, though, that's when it all falls apart.Totally understandable with missing a purpose. Right now we don't know what PVM looks like late game as well as PVP. My goal is to create the best PVP account at the moment but like i dont know what "META" is. That's the thing we wont know if its worth it or not, but as long as people continue to play every single day it'll be fun. If people stop playing its over.
I enjoyed the first ~10 hours. Beat the 3 bosses in episode 2, then quit. Just not a game worth grinding hundreds of hours in when it feels more like a mobile game than an MMO and the content just isn't there. Boring combat, boring skilling, boring enemy progression(everything is just a blue flounder, red flounder), zero interaction with other players, can't even see items dropped by people. Also why are 2 of the main starting quests requiring insane grinds like 25 fishing and 50 alchemy? That's the equivalent of cooks assistant requiring 80 cooking. Idk maybe after all the updates the game will be good in the coming months/years, I'd give it like a 6/10 though, pretty mediocre.
2:48 Craziest thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life.

The tiled look of the game feels too artificial and ugly to me
Fair enough, did you play RuneScape growing up, or currently play?
Brighter Shores is hella boring.
I've been enjoying it won't lie to you, but my purpose is PvP.
Lol runescape is utter shite
LMFAO, honestly man i feel that on a spirtual level. But i do enjoy the PVP on osrs.
