I always bring a carry on for this reason. Earlier this year I flew to ORD to change planes and continue on to Keflavik, only to find that my checked suitcase didn’t make the flight to Chicago! Thankfully it arrived just in time to check it with Icelandair.
Gosh I know the feeling of losing luggage! I am sight challenged, and I would hate to lose my luggage if I ever went to Stockholm! Last time I lost my luggage was when I came home to Eugene from Los Angeles, California. What actually happened was, someone took off with what they thought was their bag, and eventually United Airlines scanned it and realized there was a luggage mixup! Both bags were the exact same color (blue), with luggage tags for United Airlines. What's different is mine had a pink ribbon with my name on it. Pink is not my color, but Mama Jane said it had to have something bright that anyone could see. Maybe if they let you put a metal tag with your name and phone number on there, that would be better, as I bet someone could return it to you faster.
I think the Arlanda Airport should have non-stop Manila flights once the New Manila International Airport opens most likely on Philippine Airlines. I want to see a non-stop Arlanda-Manila flight.
Next time do NOT take the train.most expensive in europe. u can get to city fast with flixbus for a good price. only 79kr instead of 340 with the monopolized train.
