I'm a bit late here, but take a look at the Royal Grammar School, Wycombe UK production of 2013 (easy to find here). Video quality could be better but outstanding in many ways. The best school version I have seen. The moving rendition of "On My Own" is as good as any professional production.
For a school production, I would rate this highly. Good production, and the lead singers are really good. Valjean especially is excellent. The big weakness I'm afraid is the orchestra, which is really poor at times. The soloists do well to rise above it (e.g. Javert during 'Stars'). Overall, it's a good show. I hope we see more of the Valjean. (whats his name?)

Okay. I may or may not have possibly sorta kinda seen ten or so different high school Lés Mis productions simply to hear Cosette (this is all speculation). And I can safely say that I've had something to critique with all of them thus far. Not that I'm better per say, but I can hear a mistake in their voice. Meanwhile.....THIS COSETTE. She was absolutely amazing. Actually I kind of hate her for being that good in high school.

I've watched many versions of Les Mis and when I first saw another version I cried when Eponine died however overtime I stopped getting emotional. This was able to make me cry again it was wonderful.
I have seen many musicals, including Les Miserables, because my father played in it, and co-wrote the musical Cyrano de Bergerac (In France). And oh My god this production ... each character is excellent. All voices are sublime, this is the best production I have seen. Everything is really good ... I watch this video at least once a month, because I love Les Misérables, and this production in particular ... I hope that most of them have been able to make a career because they deserve it. Sorry for my English, I'm french...(And also.....I'm in love with the boy who plays Courfeyrac...omg)
At 2:09:42 the guy to the far left's candle wouldn't go out so he just kind of awkwardly covered it with his hands and then LATER in the duet with Cosette and Marius she tries to blow his candle out and switch it off twice but it never works oh my gosh these candles
The singing and acting from the kids was top-tier, especially for high school standards. Especially Eponine, Javert, Valjean, Marius, and the Thenardiers. Incredible performances from them and the rest of the cast. The orchestra was pretty decent. But my God.... they either need better microphones or a better person to control the microphones lol
Amazing... Such an amazing high school musical/acting performance is out of the possibilities of the most of academic centers in my country, Spain. Wow...
This is a super version. It scores most on the very high standard of singing by the principals. It's a shame about the technical issues with the sound, meaning that some characters weren't heard to their best advantage.
Idk what anyone is talking about evebry character was good but that Fatine was horrible and The Marius was the best. He can actually sing while most people are struggling. Overall pretty good production of a pretty tough school
Hahahaha the timing was perfect when Madame said "Thinks he's quite a lover but there's not much there" and the girl in the background tilted her head all the way back
This is very good. My only complaint is that Dog Eats Dog kind of gets the shaft but that's in most high schools tbf. The captain wasn't the best either.
Not a fan of this bishop. The Bishop is my favorite song in the entire play (don't ask why) and I'm not impressed. But this was so well made wow wish my school was like this. LOOOVE Thenardier I need to know who he is.
This was great! I loved almost everything, except for the rather unenergetic performances of Gavroche and Enjolras. Also, the orchestra was horribly out of tune. No offense, but it sounded like a middle school band. Otherwise, this was excellent!
