I have Madagascan origins but live in New Zealand. I was very touched by this video and each time, I came to the conclusion that foreigners are taking advantage of our country!!!! Regarding foreigners living in Madagascar, Unlike many Madagascans, I am among those who think that they MUST make any effort to be part of our culture and integrate our values, are free to go back to where they belong!!! This is Madagascar, if you want to live there, at least, make some effort to understand the culture, learn the language (just the basics would be fine) as well as the history. In places like New Zealand - but also in Australia, Argentina, Denmark or the United states, you have to pass a language test and have a good command of English/Spanish/Danish. In my own view, this is legitimate as New Zealand is not France or China!!!! If you want to live in a country, speak the language....Our governments are acting stupidly by allowing foreigners to exploit our resources and let the latter impose their will!!!! In Botswana, for example, foreigners are only allowed to work if and only if there is no one locally who can apply for the job. IF there is, PRIORITY will be given to the local, the foreigner will have to WAIT! YOU FRENCH, INDIANS AND CHINESE GUYS who are in Madagascar.... If you do not want to make a minimum of efforts to get integrated, to learn the minumum from Madagascar, I politely invite you to get the hell out of our country!
It is time we take back control of our borders, it is time Madagascar leaders take their responsibility, which is to protect the country's resources and interests. But above all, as citizens we have to play our role by undertaking daily actions such as make foreigners understand that they are foreigners: be acive online, raise your voice when you think you are being exploited, or just write a blog or post a youtube video!
