I’ve been working on a homebrew jungle setting and have been wondering what I could do as a main quest. Now I think it’s gonna be stopping a cult that worships aboleths that are trying to summon a leviathan to flood the jungle so the aboleths can reclaim their former seat of power. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work, love your videos
Excellent. Cant wait till the next episode. These remind me of the villains at the end of the Disney Hercules movie, not in appearance but in fluff and power scale
I'm not sure if this will get mentioned in later videos but the Lightning storm is only ( only lol) a 120ft lasting an action. Its Living Storm. 1d6+4 Miles is always ongoing. So when it uses its Lightning Strike legendary action its raining down electric death hell on anything within 5-10 MILES not just 120ft. ;)
Oh, and also @Suicide Dice - can't believe you forgot this quote and awesome response from Brian! 12:40 "You can't punch weather; it's very difficult to punch weather"-Will "I can't shoot a hurricane with my gun, despite what some people in my country think"-Brian That was brilliant lol :)
Mastermind is my favorite rogue. I crave the power of that unique lvl17 ability. I'm growing elderly waiting for the opportunity to use it. Too bad ALL modules start at lvl1. It's causing El Ementality to wither
I ran a one shot where my players controlled the elder elementals to fight the Tarrasque after watching your episode about him. It took forever and there were so many legendary actions, half the elder elementals did little to no damage while the other 2 just picked away at the Tarrasque. In the end Big-T lost, he couldn't put out damage fast enough or high enough vs how much health the elementals had. It was cool, just too much mechanics to track.
I have liked and commented! I continue to serve the weathered dungeoncast! Hello again milords! It's always good to see you, especially so during such trying times. So, elder elementals eh? They sound more like forces of nature rather than monsters. If one ever finds its way to our good lands of knowledge and laughter, I'm not sure I'll be able to stop such a threat. Who am I kidding? I plan on dueling multiple demonlords. If I can't fight one of these over glorified storms than what kind of paladin am I? By the way, I take your statement about not being able to punch clouds as a challenge milord. You know those ten tasks Heracles had to perform? Consider this the first task I shall perform for you! Even though you did not request for me to do so. Welp, I'm off on my journey up into the mountains to commence my cloud punching training, till next week milords! P.s. maybe my cloud punching skills will come in handy for fighting elder elementals. Ah, once again ima gettin my weekly fix, you bring me so high boys, even a myconoid would be envious. Don't have much to say this week. Although since avatar was mentioned, I'll say this. The cartoon series is absolutely fantastic, but the movie (which I had the displeasure of seeing in theaters) was complete and utter garbage. If anyone who reads this wants to check out avatar, stay far away from the movie. Even the ember island players summarised the story of the show better than that dumpster fire...
I always wanted an elder giant elk to be a questboss for a party, say a small country or group of villages is being terrorized by a "behemoth" that is actual a giant giant elk just walking through eating trees stomping through villages.
If the Leviathan creates two tidal waves that crash into each other, I'd rule it as 12d10 + STR damage to everyone crushed in the middle. Everyone is then incapacitated because they're discombobulated and concussed. They must make DC 20 WIS saves at the start of their turns to get their bearings back. Both the tidal waves are gone because they cancelled each other out.
i have done something like the mega antelope, we had finished the main story of my campaign i made and was doing just random ideas for adventures and one my players who was a alchemist wanted to take the dna of a storm giant and put it inside of his dire wolf mount and it caused it to grow to gigantic over a period of time and became to wild and free for him to control anymore and immune to charm. So it turned into a fun chase adventure of chase after this Gigantic Dire Wolf, that had some abiltys of a storm giant across the lands that was just destroying citys and wild life. It was so funny cause i kinda let the ropes off there creative minds to give them fun ways to come up with and our artificer passed all the checks to make a antman suit like from avengers to make one person grow in size to match the wolf and our halfling barbarian put on the suit and used it to engage in a wrestling match with the wolf outside of the Capital City
Hey Will & Brian, long time listener, love your guy’s’ work! Thought I might hit you guys up if you’ve heard from anyone doing that DnD Block Party event next weekend....? I know Ted from Nerd Immersion is promoting it, but basically it’s a DnD event for the broader TH-cam Community since DnD Live was all Celebrity Guests & WotC peeps... There’s a segment on lore with AJ Pickett & Jorphdan that I think you would contribute well to! You should try and hit up Nerd Immersion and see if they would be interested in collaborating, just want to see all my Dungeon People all working on a single project and thought you might be interested.... Anyways, kool beans! Later, Taters!
Totally no flat earpher.. earther.. but.. a fun thought.. a 2d circle in 3d space.. becomes a sphere. 😃 maybe both sides are right 🤷♂️ depending on vantage point 🤪
Probably going to throw a megalope emelemental at my players later in our campaign just as a tribute. Kind of like sharknado... I'll leave you the rest to your imagination.
Brian: "Have you ever restrained water?"
*Looks down at water bottle*
"Yes, yes I have."
lol
The elder tempest is what Florida man has been training so hard to protect us from every hurricane season

It all began when the fire elementals attacked.
This was an unexpected treat. Haven’t ran elementals in game aside from genies.
“Shout out to demogorgon.” I guess I know who he’s a Paladin of.
This my fav podcast ngl and i'm always excited every week and in this pandemic this is a life saver
The Ultimate Air Elemental: SHARKNADO :)
It appears Will has finally transcended to a great being of knowledge and lore. Brian remains chill.
I'm not sure if this will get mentioned in later videos but the Lightning storm is only ( only lol) a 120ft lasting an action.

As always a great cast guys!!! Missed Will in the first segment. Glad to see his return. Would be hard to add one of those creatures. Tough beasts.
Oh, and also @Suicide Dice - can't believe you forgot this quote and awesome response from Brian! 12:40
"You can't punch weather; it's very difficult to punch weather"-Will
"I can't shoot a hurricane with my gun, despite what some people in my country think"-Brian
That was brilliant lol :)
As my mastermind rogue would say: lore like this is elementary my dear Dawson
DANG IT! If I had just typed a little faster I would have posted my PUN first. Uuuugh...good game.
Mastermind is my favorite rogue. I crave the power of that unique lvl17 ability. I'm growing elderly waiting for the opportunity to use it. Too bad ALL modules start at lvl1. It's causing El Ementality to wither
I'm out of ideas, I suppose I'll have to brain *storm* some new pun ideas.
When it comes to puns, I have a PairaMeantAll for these guys
Yes puns for this subject is leaving me out of my element...
Man I was hype hearing about the leavithan up until tidal wave. Then I felt truly terrified

I like listening to the dungeoncast
Same
Happy B-Day Will!!!!
Thank you!

I like the idea of an elemental but big
I always wanted an elder giant elk to be a questboss for a party, say a small country or group of villages is being terrorized by a "behemoth" that is actual a giant giant elk just walking through eating trees stomping through villages.
Will with the Space Jam reference @18:03
I can't believe you guys got all the way through this and never once said "Eldermentals". I am disappointed.

I've gone eleMENTAL trying to get here before swaggerduff
I've grown elderly due to it. At least you still have your youth
Happy bday will
Thank you!
I’m early! Quick, say something funny! Uh-

Sounds a lot like in Bleach when Hollows devour each other to gain power and “evolve” into Menos Grande
Fuck, your right. At least we know people can make bleach campaign.
Ichigo is fighter/sorcerer.
I have a friend who ran a bleach campaign hados and kitos included but mega antelope
I really want to run a "summon the elder elementals to defeat a demon invasion" high-level campaign now.

What are the stats on that mega antelope?
Air bender is on Netflix go watch it rn

Plane of existance 🤫

I wonder how dragons feel about these guys lol
Probably how we feel about dragons.
