Bloody hell you're having some bad luck with the weather. I've moved to Lisbon, been here a month now and not seen any rain at all. I didn't bring my bike as we are living in an apartment and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my bike on the street. Having said that, bikes are so expensive over here maybe I should have brought mine over. There are gated carparks but I haven't inquired how much they are. I may get one eventually. My wife's not keen, she's not a biker and she worries too much. I've been riding 40 years and I'm still here. Good luck on your travels and I hope you find what you're looking for.

Porky roads are terrible after the initial bout of rain, many killed over the years because they don't understand. Bikers need great care and drive for others, l have picked up a few bikes and bodies.
