About the Game:
Final Fantasy VII Remake is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. The game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix plans to release the game in episodic installments, with the first scheduled for release on April 10, 2020 for the PlayStation 4 with timed exclusivity until April 10, 2021.
Players control mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE battle the corrupt Shinra megacorporation from using the planet's life essence as a energy source. Events send them on the way of the legendary soldier Sephiroth, who desires to possess the life essence to become a demigod. The gameplay combines real-time action similar to Dissidia Final Fantasy with other strategic elements.
Exploration and battle mechanics both take place in real-time, like Final Fantasy XV. The game features an altered "Active Time Battle" (ATB) system from the original, which gradually fills up slowly, or can fill faster with attacks. Once it is filled, the player can halt the action and use special abilities such as magic, items, and special moves. The player can also assign these special abilities to shortcut buttons, allowing them to play entirely in real-time without pausing. Each special ability uses up a segment of the ATB bar. The player can also switch between party members at any time. Each party member has their own individual skills, such as Cloud's close-quarters melee attacks and Barret's long-range distance attacks. Players will also be able to use magic and summons, and a Limit Break gauge allows characters to perform more powerful attacks once charged. Producer Yoshinori Kitase stated that while the game has more real-time elements, there would still be strategic elements, such as selecting weapons and magic for each character to wield.

fun fact, but the choice you make when tifa asked "what should I wear when we go out" back in chapter 2 or whatever is what decides which dress she wears in this part of the game.

hey cyn, i'm wondering since you've already said that you plan on playing rebirth after this, if you consider checking out the DLC of this game - it's really short, like think the length of the Black Cat DLC in Marvel's Spider Man 2018 and features the introduction of a character who's gonna be important in rebirth :)

The Wallmarket chapter is so gooooood! Loved this episode!
All three charcters (Tifa, Aerith, Cloud) have 3 different outfits depending on your actions throughout the previous chapters.
For Tifa, you chose which one she wears when you are planning to go out in your little motel room,
for Aerith it's how many sidequests you do in the previous chapter and
for Cloud it's how you answer questions and how many sidequests you do during the Wallmarket chapter.
You got my favorite dresses for all of them. 🙌
The party kind of knows that they blew up at least the second reactor themselves. Heidegger showed them how he activated Avalanche's bomb before they could do it. You had the bomb timer ticking during the Airbuster (big robot) boss fight.
I guess, that they still don't believe that they would make a whole plate fall and kill so many more innocents than when making the reactor explode. Or maybe it's just Tifa coping with the fact that it would destroy her home and kill her friends.

the saddest thing about this game is that there isnt a DLC so you can wear the dress when ever in the game.
Fun fact. When the remake was first announced, everyone was convinced the cross dressing would be cut.
No it wasn't. What people thought would be cut was the implications of Cloud getting S*A'd by a bunch of muscular dudes, which was in fact a scene that didn't make it to remake.
@@SonicMegaKing Many people definitely thought the cross-dressing would get cut for being too silly or for feeling in bad taste. They pulled it off by making it so funny and fabulous though.
They definitely did, it was probably the biggest "will they? Won't they?" talking point. Nobody was talking about the dudes jumping on Cloud, because that was a one and done scene and pretty forgettable, whereas you spend lots of time running around in that dress, which made it by far the most memorable part of this portion.
They cut a lot in the remake. no bath, no side quests for makeup, dress, perfume, or wig, and Corneo won't pick the girls.
Final Fantasy Drake? Goddamn, that beef really got everyone's eyes and ears.

The way you're supposed to use Tifa is to get her up to Level 3 Unbridled Strength, to maximize her square button combos, then when the enemy is Staggered, you use her triangle attacks to raise the percent of stagger damage done to them.
There are other aspects of strategy regarding how to use her attacks and combos to do damage quick and recover atb, but you're just better off googling Unbridled Strength and reading the wiki about it. But that's the simplest and most effective thing, and I see a lot of people just don't know what she does at all. Hopefully this'll help.
Just remember: Cloud never said he can't dance. He said he doesn't dance.
You should really try mastering the abilities for each weapon so that they remain available to use even when you switch to a different one! It hurt my heart seeing each character only have like one ability lol. It can come in really useful in the tougher boss fights to have that variety available.

Now that somebody has pointed out that they share the same voice actor (Yuri Lowenthal), all i can hear is Peter Parker simping for Tifa 😂
Before the game came out there were a lot of people wondering and worrying they would take out the crossdressing Cloud and tame down wall market and the honeybee inn and don corneo.
Luckily and thankfully they not only kept it all in but actually (in my opinion) sleazed up Don Corneo even more (though he doesn't thrust at you like in the original haha)
In OG 7 everyone has 1 costume but Don could choose eaither Cloud Aeris or Tifa and you had to collect extra things to make him choose Cloud. In Remake he always chooses Cloud I believe, which is kind of a shame but understandable, but each of them can have one of 3 outfits. Tifa's is chosen when she asked you about the night on the town way back in Chapter 3 (I think) and I think Aerith's is also chosen by what you do in Wall market as well as Cloud's. I am not as familiar with it as I am in the original. You got Cloud's "2nd best" outfit I believe and Aerith's "1st best" I believe. Tifa's is more of a style change but I guess her "1st best" would be her dress that is similar to what it was in the original which is a very nice blue dress (she looks great lol)
Thanks for the video! Wasn't sure the ring was for a finger 😂. Abzu i guess is supposed to be as gross as it's master - that tongue licking attack is practically some hentai shit. The "lesser resistance" doesn't mean it is weak to that element, it means it has a ~50% resistance to it rather than a greater resistance of ~90%.
I'm shocked there is no Horizon Zero Dawn or Forbidden West Let plays on this channel.

Make sure you do everything you want to do because their is certain parts of the game where the player will not to be able to return too certain areas.

You actually can switch to other characters outside of combat, the same way as you do in combat, just regarding your comment about wanting to switch to Aerith to use cure
Well, you can order her to do it, but you can't switch to her to have her do it. A bit of a difference.
Tifa‘s favorite thing to talk about is needing a shower😂 I wonder if that has any significance to her best move being starshower 😅 I doubt it but seriously Starshower is fun
If I remember correctly it’s because before she lived in Sector 7 she lived in a small shipping container in Sector 8. The only way she could take a shower was a woman who charged 3 Gil for a shower, 5 Gil if you wanted it to be private. So the novelty of a good shower is very valued for her now 😅

Damn I was hoping you’d pick Aerith up. Was real hopeful she had won you over. I’ll never understand the Tifa love but it’s cause Aerith made such an impression on me and I saw how Cloud acted around her and he doesn’t do that at all with Tifa.

Aerith is a gem. Chapter 9 is such a crazy and fun chapter. Which is appropriate as WalMarket was always a crazy section of the original. You can spend so much time getting Cloud dressed up in the original. Even changes who the Don picks in the OG.
And the cutest and most loveable game character EVER (yeah, like ever) award goes tooooo... "drum roll" AERITH GAINSBOROUGH!!! Let's hear it for Aerith everybody! 1:02:40 That was Aerith's attempt at imitating Don Corneo's neigh laugh 😆

Been waiting for this one haha. You did all of Aerith's quests during her chapter so you got the best dress possible for her and getting you that Cloud being speechless reaction. "Don't watch this Aerith, please." Aerith would not have missed this moment for the world haha. The voice actress for Aerith has actually cosplayed as Aerith and has some shots with the legendary steel chair.
Don't worry about the choice in the sewers too much. It gives you 1 of 3 possible optional scenes later in the story. Whenever you finish the game I highly recommend watching the other 2 scenes.
