Really nice result! 👍🏻 One little remark : an another way to apply metallic pigment (on tracks, tools, etc) consist in using a silicon brush (available at AK, Ammpo, etc), so that you can keep your fingers clean 😉
Great paintjob and weathering. I like that you show also the steps that didnt go well. I am showing them to. I think this is an important thing in the learning process... 🤟
A great result Rick! The Jagdpanther looks like it is ready for action. I like your approach to weathering the model too, in that you have not overdone it. Also, the method of applying the zimmerit worked very well. Inspirational build. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺!
Perfect timing Rick! About to paint my Tamiya Möbelwagen this week in these colours, using one of the AK books as a source, & using the same ‘Real Colour’ paints as you’ve used too. Good to see how you repainted the original camo & showing if you’re not happy with something it’s always best to redo! Love how the oils bring it all to life, undoubtedly a slow process but so worth it. Will definitely reference this one too for technique - the jagdpanther looks amazing…😊👌
Thank you so very much. I appreciate you stopping by to take a look, and it makes me happy to know that you got something from the video. Take care, and we'll talk soon.
Well done! That "waffle" pattern for the Zimmerit really only works on the Jag, I've seen it on Panthers and some other models but I never liked it. But you pulled it off nicely on the Jag. Your builds look great on video I bet they are really something in person.
Probably> A little bit of lazy, a little bit of "American", a little bit of "west coast", and a lot of I really don't like doing the narratives. Thanks for watching.
Looks really great!
Thanks. I hope I was able to answer your oil paint question ok in the chat...if not, just drop me a line.

Looking great!! Maybe a filter would help?
Paul, in what way? What are you seeing or suggesting?
@@RickLawlerPropaganda Maybe a color combo thinned out and put over your first coat.
Splendid build🎉🎉🎉

That engine grease is a great color.
Yes it is!!!!
It’s the General Lee of Jagdpanthers! 😂
LOL!
Nice work. Excellently finished. Thank you for sharing. Greetings, NOB from Japan
Thank you very much!
outstanding as always Rick. Who makes those small drill bits that you used for the track links.
The set that I'm using is from AK. Link, and it can be found from various suppliers:ak-interactive.com/product/drill-bits-0-4-1-3/
Looks awesome. I must remember that works with lower hull with string pieces. ;) All the best for You! ;)
Super easy way to add quick effects, especially in areas such as behind all of those road wheels where it won't be seen.
Nice work. I struggle with German camo all the time. It never looks right to me until I'm done with all the weathering.
You and me both!
Rick, which thinner did you use with the ak real colours?
I used the Real Color thinner. It's a lacquer thinner, the yellow cap Tamiya works as well.
Never saw that Zimmerit pattern! It feels strange Rick. Pancake pattern? :D
Take a look at late '44 Jagdpanthers, they all had a variation of this type of square pattern.
Good stuff! I used to call that camo scheme the Christmas fruit cake :-)
That applies...but we need to wait until after Thanksgiving until we use it!!!
