Francis is a very lucky man. He has been a nurse for a long time. So many nurses in the UK are moving to the west. He went through alot to practice in Canada.
This is really helpful because I don’t know anyone with first hand experience. I am planning to move to Canada too from UK but oh Lord just thinking about the process makes me sigh
Anyone applying for Alberta , AHS,? I am going through current recruitment process so drop a message if u r from uk and going to be a RN in Alberta. P.s enjoyed the video
What I've learnt in this video is that UK seems to be attractive mostly to African nurses. I never heard of any US nurses move to the UK. Travel nurses are only available in the US??
just a quick question, he stated that he is a psychiatric nurse, how come is he working in Ontario. As a registered psychiatric nurse, you can only work in 4 provinces- BC, Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan So how is he working as a psychiatric nurse in Ontario and as a psychiatric nurse, you get to do the RPNCE exam not an NCLEX. so I'm just so lost.
BC did contact I'm university directly and ask if student nurse are interested with a career in BC, I said yes , and now I'm doing the process, they are giving lots of help as well and they will chase your immigration process too. And I prefer the weather in BC 😂.
Hello Priscilla, this opportunities are offered to nurses only?? How about other fields I have studied occupational health and safety and willing to relocate to UK
Yes you can. I’m also an RMN trained in the U.K. first you register with NNAS, I think you pay about 300dollars I’m not sure. Then they convert ur degree to theirs and see if you need further trainings. The exams RMN’s write is not NCLEX.
D Canadians doing dis NNAS r not so aware, we need to open deir eyes! What nonsense, saying a British citizen needs English Proficiency!! Mk dem borrow sense mscheww
@@priscillakumahrn still in the process, u don’t need ielt coming from U.K. first I register with NNAS then paid the fee. I sent them all my documents including my passport which was notarised. I will be creating a TH-cam channel to discuss my journey.
What Francis said is wrong, you can't be a qualified nurse with Diploma in mental health nursing, it's no no no, you'll be a qualified nurse and practice as a Registered nurse in UK after your Bsc in nursing or you get nursing associate with your NHS Trust? Diploma in nursing can not practice as a qualified nurse in UK, that's it.
Francis said when he did his training the qualification being offered at the time was a diploma. He also clarified that this has changed and people now qualify with a BSn! I thought it was clear enough in the video. 😅Also there are different band nurses in The UK based on your qualifications. The scope of practice varies but you can definitely work.
