You’re are equally respectful & polite as well. I’ve seen you thanking them repeatedly. You’re jovial too making ur videos so natural especially when u speak hokkien . Keep it up ! 👍🏼 👍🏼👍🏼
The first 2 minutes of my video were shot using my DJI Pocket 2 but it began overheating. The rest of the video I switched over to my Insta360 Go 3 which resulted in more wind noise in my audio. I am planning to find a good lav mic with a deadcat to solve this issue.
Nice! Actually we need more local people like you doing YouTubing of food availability at places we might not be aware of nor have been to. Keep it up bro!
@@seapmco thank you... actually I have had some people tell me not to share these local delights. I can't believe how selfish people can be. Of course I will keep sharing hahaha
finally got chance to try this out.. damn superb!! will come back for more!! the other famous Siam Road CKT is too wet for my liking, stopped going there.
Not sure if you are into chicken rice. Was wondering if you could do a review on Goh Thew Chik Hainan Chicken Rice, if they are worth Michelin star rating vs Wai Kei and Pak Hock.
That is a great idea... there are quite a lot of good chicken rice stalls in Penang, I don't know where to start! LOL Same thing as wan than mee... so many hahahaha
Wah! This vid was taken 5 months ago. Like only yesterday wan oh. Oklah, once awhile I will eat Penang style Char Kueh Teow. But there are so many places sell this delicious food. Have to choose wan oh 😅
This one is nice and reasonablt priced, I think worth the try. Portion is not too big either. The kopitiam's wan than mee and salted vege pork rice also nice.
I'm jealous I can't eat most chinese char kuey teow because it isn't halal. If I passed by CKT stalls I would open my car window just to get the smell/aroma.
Oh, do go back and try uncle's CKT, also the wan than mee and yam rice is also good! 😄 Across the road on Anson Road is Xin He kopitiam, and the auntie's duck meat koay teow soup is also delicious!
the old generation masters are slowly retiring and some their children took over the taste not so good liao..........so better enjoy more while we can..........i used to love the fried kuay tiao at the air itam kopi shop near penanghill roundabout (my personl view it was one of the best).........but the old couple has retired liao too bad
Your Comments are very natural without putting too much effort...Great Job!!!
Sometimes I don't know what to say, I usually just blab into the camera with only one take hahaha. But I am quite a chatty person in real life. LOL
@@pishedblokeYour wife seems to be the quite one. I could listen to you all day long.

We need more videos like this where it's not tourist trap
Uncle can sell at RM6 with this quality and ingredients, really hard to find nowadays

The char kuey teow is rly good!!
haha, saw 1 of the guy wearing "Penang Walkabouts" t-shirt. The group is very active in the makan-makan community.
I saw that too when I was editing the video!!! I submitted this video to their FB page and it is just awaiting approval from the Mods.
@@pishedblokeHaha, saw your comment there. :)
@@AUNTHIAM hahaha already approved!

That is true, let me find some Halal stalls that you can try... good idea for a video, thank you! 😁
Halal no good because the unique taste comes from the fried lard.
If i caught this video first,it would gave saved me an hour wait at the other stall

I missed 40 years of CKT....so sad...someone should start shipping frozen CKT to Canada.
CKT is not so hard to make, but you need the right wok for it. The only thing is finding cockles which I heard is banned in some countries LOL
