بابا بلھے شاہ دربار میں نے سائیکل پر لاہور سے قصور حاضری دی تھی، اور پھر واپس بھی لاہور سائیکل پر آیا تھا یہ غالبا 1992 کی بات ہے، ایک چھوٹی سے سڑک تھی ،،، بہت بابرکت وقت تھا، نیز بارش بھی اس وقت بہت ہورہی تھی ۔۔ شکریہ از محمدخرم
اسکا مطلب آپنے لاہور کو اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھا اور محسوس کیا جب لاہور باغوں کا شہر تھا اور کیا ہی قسمت والے ہیں جو اتنا پیارا وقت گزارا۔ مجھے حیرت ہوتی ہے کہ ایسے وقت سے گزر کر آپ اس ماڈرن وقت میں اپنے آپبکو کیسے ایڈجسٹ کیا۔
Very happy to see Your video . Before Partition, Kasur was a very busy Railway Station. My mother in her Childhood used to go by train from Ferozepur to Lahore to meet her relatives there via Kasur, Raja Jang, Raiwind, Walton Cantt, Lahore. For going to Amritsar also , people used to change train at Kasur, board another train for Khemkaran, Patti, Tarntarn ,Amritsar.
Kasur was famous for Kasuri Jutti and Kasuri Methi.
And was also famous for kasuri falooda Arif Malik from Lahore

Undoubtedly one of the greatest Punjabi poets who is revered by all Punjabi. I recall in school Punjabi language syallabus we had a chapter on his poem. My grandfather had a book on compilation of his poetry. Thank you for the tour to his mazar.

I was writing the concept of my 2nd TV serial. It was on Sufis & Sants of India during 1996. I started writing its concept after I got transferred out of the IAS Academy in Mussoorie.. I used to sit in the ICCR, ICHR, NSD. Sangeet Natak Academy, etc. libraries at Mandi House crossing in Delhi. I covered 26 of those stalwarts by reading their works, history, life, music, qawalis and bhajans sung at their ashram or khanaqas, geographical area where they were involved in spreading the love for God and humanity. Bulleh Shah was one of those. I am extremely thankful to you for this video as through it vicariously, I am visiting the tomb of Bulleh Shah. My TV serial had 52 episodes which was in principal approved by DD on submission, but the friend who promised to make it, never returned back to me after taking from me the complete draft of the concept and the letter DD had sent to me being its writer! IT HAPPENS IN LIFE I REALIZED MUCH LATER!

Wonderful video, atleast there are some people who still understand and make people understand the history of the bygone days which were so great in arts literature, the common culture we share which has been divided by politicians and the British because they never wanted the subcontinent to be the morning star of the world, they still sit back and enjoy the great division they made in people of common ancestory.
I agree. The irony is that Bulleh Shah ji wrote Sufi verses in Punjabi and this video is mostly in Urdu.Punjabi is a living written language in India and is taught in schools. Not so in Pakistan.
Sometimes I feel sad and surprised that the area of Pakistan where lot of saints and civilisations were born is so detached from there learnings and achievements.
Imagine land of Bulle shah, Baba Farid, Guru Nanak and Harappa & Mohanjodaro is in crises just because of wrong ideology , identity crises and hypocrisy . Its sad that your brothers from our side are improving and doing wonders but you're in such bad state of economy.
