- Statue Man Melbourne is a street performer who performs at Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne City, Victoria, Australia.
He has a very basic act, where he is painted head to toe including his clothes, in a bronze like paint, and he will just stand like a statue until you make a donation, at that time, he will usually strike a new pose which compliments what you are doing, such as if kids donate and then stand next to him for a photo he may rest his arms on their heads, or in another case a man donated then stood next to him with his arms crossed, so statue man mirrored his actions.
But regardless what pose he takes after someone donating, he will stay in that pose until someone else makes another donation, so each pose has to be quickly & carefully considered as he may be in that pose for awhile until someone donates.
He seems very popular with the passing crowds, not to mention his outfit and painted make up is amazing and truely makes him look like a bronze statue.

He’s fantastic. Imagine standing like that on a hot day! The best act of this type I’ve ever seen was in Paris but I think this man is just as good.
this was a hot day, it was about 30 degrees and humid (muggy), and it's only getting hitter as we go into summer.
