    I was stationed in Izmir Turkey for two years loved the food when going to field most of time the Turkish Army meals were much better. Eating out was great you could find all kinds of different things to eat.

    Great gear and ration review. That coffee looked awesome. I can drink instant but it doesn't check any boxes for me.
    Here's a tip for anybody. If you break a shoe / boot lace replace it with para cord. It will last a lot longer.

    • @dubc3615

      Awesome idea I will replace them with survivor cord so I got 12 strands of tools!

    I love Halva. It's usually sickly sweet so to balance it many folks usually eat it with unsweetened tea. Great stuff.

    • @geno5360
      @geno5360 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the case of Halva though sickly sweet isn't a bad thing. It's supposed to be a kickstart kinda sweet like you'd have with tea or maybe even coffee.

    • @dubc3615
      @dubc3615  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would be great with tea or coffee just like you mentioned. This was not to sweet so was not to bad.

    Awesome video as usual. Stinks about the main entree. It’s amazing the stuff that’s allowed to come through customs and other places, but we cannot allow unopened food. Keep up the great work and stay safe!

    Wow that was an awesome ration, so many items that I’ve never seen before let alone in a ration. Very cool lantern, I may have to have a look at their options, we’ve typically used a Coleman propane lantern when camping but that looks significantly lighter and smaller. Great job my friend

    • @dubc3615
      @dubc3615  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coleman are hard to beat. I really liked this due to having 4 settings and being able to recharge and charge items. This was a fun ration to check out some very high quality items. I loved the tortillas and the cream cheese. Thanks for watching Murray.

    I'm so sorry you lost the chicken curry to customs, and the other main was compromised.
    But it was really interesting to see a Turkish 24hr ration.
    I think its the first review I've seen of one of those.
    The tubes of honey and chocolate nut spread are a great idea, especially if you don't want to eat it all at once, you can save some for later.
    The reflective paracord was really good, no accidents if you have to move around the campsite at night, and it looked like it held up well.
    Great vid again :)

    • @dubc3615
      @dubc3615  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am very impressed with the reflective paracord it really pops when going around camp. It would be easy to navigate back to camp as well due to it.

    In Texas we call food eaten in a tortilla wrap “Tacos” and they are a favorite with eggs, fajitas, etc…. Makes for good “Megabites!” Bummer about the pen hole main! Thank you for sharing Dub C. Thumbs Mega Up! Blessings 👍🏼

Ration, I Thought if you ordered from MreMoutain, which I never have, I assumed that they had gotten thru Customs, So did the Ration get opened before MreMoutain received it, I have so much to learn, as always what a awesome review, I loved all of the Gear, and as always, the Great and Thruole way you Review everything, Your a Star 🌟 Brother, Thank you. Mremountain drop ships almost all their rations. They get raided by customs, and if you get a return email from them it's usually "oh well. It happens. No refunds." Only use mremountain if it's your last choice, you have a month to get your stuff, and almost no customer service. Never buy a case of anything from them. It will be a negative experience

    Bummer about your ration being opened. I got rid of my Amazon virus, but the software did not get rid of the eBay virus, and I have a Polish ration headed my way. Hope it makes it thru, fingers are crossed. Good sub with the MH curry. I sent that menu to a friend in Canada, and she said she liked it.

    This is my friend's own and he gave me the recipe for given the recipe for making original recipe tortillas from turkish 🇹🇷 from Mr. Mustafa who comes from the city of Istanbul : Ingredients :
    Wheat flour : 500 grams
    One glass of warm cow's milk : 200 milliliters
    Cooking oil : 90 milliliters
    Baking soda : 1 teaspoon
    Sugar : 1 teaspoon
    Salt : 1 teaspoon
    How to make :
    1. Prepare a container then add flour, cooking oil, baking soda, sugar and salt and mix well by kneading by hand
    2. While mixed, add the milk little by little while stirring with the dough until the dough becomes even and smooth
    3. After that cover the dough with a cloth and let stand for about 30 minutes
    4. Next take a little dough, about a handful then flatten it with a rolling pin with a thickness according to taste
    5. After that, cut the edges with a mold to make it look neat. Repeat until the dough runs out
    6. Next prepare the Teflon then heat it over low heat then add the dough and cook for about 1 -2 minutes until a little brownish bubbles appear
    7. Once cooked, remove and set aside. Repeat until the end and
    8. Next, if you want to store the kebab skin, after it has been fried and cooked, paste the kebab skin on a clean wet cloth only after it cools down, store it in the refrigerator. Mr. Mustafa said: the spice from turkey is what distinguishes it from the kebabs that are commonly found as well as the secret recipe in Istanbul's kebabs. Mr Mustafa's kebabs are homemade. Starting from the kebab skin, sauce, to the meat. Now Mr. Mustafa is now selling turkish Istanbul kebabs, which have been circulating in the Jakarta area and filter coffee from sumatra my friend 🙂.
