The big problem with utopic turbo variant is you can't play floodgates like rivalry and gozen considering that festival is a spellcaster, and the only good maindeck ghostrick are the level 2.

real talk this is prob the best solo mode they've done. ghostricks not knowing what Halloween is, the use of Alucard as the representative of the ghostricks, it's just great.
i cannot agree with this at all like their lore that we get here is "they are ghosts who like to play tricks"
vendread has had an actual story and plunder was a far better iteration of this kind of structure as their was greater characterisation than "he likes to do tricks and she likes to surprise humans let's do tricks and live in the field spells"
this is on par with the weather painters "they're fairies who paint the weather", the cosmetic things are nice but the story is nothing and the duels were some of the absolute worst, neverending and dull as death

I am quite literally a legacy ghostrick player since 2014. It is my only completed deck on master duel too so this makes me super happy. Thank you for the vid!
I actually had some fun in the second to last duel in the Ghostrick solo mode by going for the mill win condition. They put a bunch of cards in the deck mill and since “soul-absorbing bone tower” also counts opponents zombie monsters it can be surprisingly fast.
I struggled so much on it that after 30 minutes I decided to go for the Angel of mischief win con.
Ghostrick have their own specific field and ost, you can see that Konami love them.
They're pretty much unofficial "Cutie" mascots lol. Which means they're guaranteed to not be forgotten....albiet the effort put into them *pulls collar and sweats*

@@puthenveetilnoel new ghostrick field spell: if any link monsters are forced into face down defence position by a ghostrick cards effect they are instead banished face down
@@jakethereaper2060 maybe just banish them facedown for a number of turns equal to the number of faceup ghostrick cards. That way if you've got the xyzs or continuous traps up, you can banish them for a while, but they aren't banished forever facedown.
Hopefully, this video will help restore the Ghostrick community’s faith in MBT.

Would be cool if Ghostrick got new cards that allowed them to synergize with the Danger! archetype. Halloween costumes and Cryptids would make a cool match up.
The one time I played a Ghostrick deck vs. someone else on MD was with the loaner for the Synchro XYZ event, and I got a Turn 0 victory because they scooped after misplaying their bricked hand, netting me a 100% winrate with the deck.
Glad the Solo mode gave me a chance to try out the Mill and Angel of Mischief strategies, I'd probably get a time out if I tried to do that stuff in a real duel, assuming I didn't die horribly first.

how to play floo: go first
@@m7in incorrect, every veiler, gamma, ash, and imperm will kick the ass of any suboptimal hand. Any optimal hand loses to 2 or more of these in combination
Except when they have Map (basically always since they play 6 Pots and Terraforming) and just play through interruptions for free
@@florinalinmarginean1135 Floo dodges ash and gamma, but if they're hand didn't draw a bigger bird negating eglen will end the turn. Really negating the second bird will end most hands. But map and eglen will basically end on empen minimum most of the time

We all know MBT as the duelist who mains HEROs, but I don't think anyone has done more for the Ghosttrick community than he has. Joseph actually brought Ghosttricks out of obscurity and onto the main stream.

Anime protags run shit like Magicians, Magnets, and Jack/Queen/King's knight in the same deck, but some casuals (that you know damn well love the show) will get mad if you pair a subpar archetype with a halfway decent engine to actually attempt to win games. Yugioh has always been about mashing archetypes and engines, from HAT to Bird Up to Tear-Ishizu.
