This is terrible. He needs to be discharged from the Army to send a message

Not "An Army first" as this reporter stated. Plenty of other leaders in the Army have been accused and convicted of sexual harassment and assault. Nothing the first, won't be the last.

This is one of the reasons as to why I retired. All of them EO AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT classes and it USUALLY an officer SNCO that did it! And nothing happens! Or its a verdict like this. Let an enlisted do that and its a dishonorable discharge, Leavenworth and a felony!

I wonder if his relationship to retired US Army Lt. General Allen West who is also a former US Congressman, a very prominent GOP leader, and an ardent supporter of Donald Trump made a difference in getting a very light sentence . . . a fine, a written reprimand, reduction in rank to a Major . . . and allowed to retire with full military benefits at his highest rank.

Doubtful. Allen West was a great leader in the Army and did not play the race card.

I wonder how many field grade article 15 proceedings he has presided over and passed down much more harsh punishment to enlisted soldiers for less damaging offenses......? The disparity between the officer and enlisted corps in regards to discipline handed down and awards given (based on rank, not merit) has always been and will remain huge injustice.

Why is he not removed from command and reduced in rank at least??? Who would want to have this guy as a commander after that?well then again if you can become president after being found guilty of sexual assault and owing over 90 million dollars for it, then I guess you can still be a leader in the military.

Out of all the clear cut SA/SH cases they finally choose to dish out justice when its conveniently a black man. 🎉

It wasn't convenient that he was black. The same has happened to officers of all races. Don't let your brain go to the wrong head.

That's rather racist. Officers of all races have been found guilty. Just don't let your brain go to the wrong head.
