Today 75069 no longer operates on the mainline ever again and has recently just returned to steam 3 years ago and now continues to operate on the seven valley railway
Continues to operate railtour excursions. The most recent is 'The Chiltern Champion' earlier in 2014. 'The Marylebone Flyer' visited Marylebone in April 2013, a steam excursion that ran non stop from Birmingham, a testament to its heyday.
Crazy world we are living in today? So many `heritage steam railways` nowadays that a really thriving. People even today still enjoy the scenic trip...rather than be despatched at lightning speed by our so called `modern` means of rail transport, where you virtually need a mortgage to pay for a ticket of any distance. No..bring back our steam trains..the people still are in love with them?? Great video by the way, really enjoyed...more please!

Back in the 60s Eastern region locomotives could be seen at Marylebone
This is wonderful!!!
75069 is now back running on the Severn Valley Railway. Looks better in Black in my opinion. 34027 is also on Severn Valley.
I used to travel a lot by train in the 80s, mainly for pleasure. But can't afford it any more. It's too expensive nowadays.
Thanks for your comment, Peter. Plan to investigate Steam Tube soon.
