Love his writing and attention to historical detail. It's liken to a wonderful history class you never want to leave.🤓👌🏻

Does the interviewer keep saying 'The Pillows of the Earth'? She also says 'Fitz Hubert,' and at the end she called him 'Ken Fallett' 43:40. Quite funny!
But she's charming, and thank you for a good interview.

Ah, I thought perhaps the musical pursuits written about in Giants was more than simply the author connecting his story to the popular culture of the era. The lad has a long passion for music, especially the sort that Maud played in the nightclub as she fell down the class structure after the war. Such a worthy read. Reminded me of Mr. Chute's grade-10 history class. He'd have enjoyed Follett's Century Series.

Might have enoyed this but the audio is too faint, even on full-blast.
