Thank you for this great video! I would love it if you could give clarity about how to use the Brand feature. There seems to be a disconnect between setting up my brand and actually applying it to the designs that I am creating, but maybe I am missing something!

Those are from Premiere! But I use libraries between Express and other Adobe apps and they work like a charm

At this particular time, it's not possible, but I'm certain this is on their roadmap. You'll want to stick with Illustrator for these!
Do you think they will ever update it so that you can save the document as a layered psd file? It would be great to be able to take it back into Photoshop.

I can't upload custom font at all! Although it says "upload font or chose bla bla bla", I don't see "add your font" option or anything.
In the non-beta version we had the express feature of recording each individual picture then it flowed together. I can't seem to find this now in the new version. Can you direct me? Thank you for this tutorial.

Thats an excellent vídeo, it covered pretty much everything, but I can't change the color paletes on the theme or add my brand theme like I used to do on the prior version of Adobe Express.

Thanks, Jessica! Good news: Yes, you can use and share designs made in the beta for commercial use-the only exception is content you’ve made using Adobe Firefly generative AI. Content made using Adobe Firefly is only available for personal use right now-it can't be used commercially.

Good question! I don't think it has that functionality yet, so you may need one of Adobe's more advanced apps/tools for that (like Premiere or AE!)
Hi Phil, newb here: do you have any idea how to do effects in this video (see link): how to do background remover/substitute a video for background, animate text the way he does (typewriter effect etc.), transitions etc? Seems like this isn't premiere pro? I'm hoping Adobe Express can eventually do this...

hi...How many photos can we generate per day in Adobe Firefly?
I have low vision, so the answer to my question may be right in front of me and I'm missing it. That said, I'm using text to image and mostly I love it, but is there a way to use the same or similar character in a second image. For instance a grandfather talking to his grandson. Boom, image created and I choose the image I like, but then. I create a second image which might be close up of the same grandfather, but it gives me a completely different person, not even resembling the fisrt one. A friend says Mid Journey allows that, but I'd like to use Adbbe Express if possible. Any thoughts?

it seems to be canva like, but very limited in comparision. I'm a designer, but my intern is still learning so I allow them to learn from places like canva for quick insp.

I've been playing with the beta myself. As a digital media specialist, a lot of the work that I do is not worth the diminishing return of using Premiere, AE, InDesign, or Illustrator. I can usually make something that gets the job done in Express, and the time I save helps me with scale and volume. So clutch.

I have come across a massive bug or limitation that I can not use Adobe Express. When I try to upload media from my computer nothing happens. I am guessing it's because the file size or the dimensions. File size is 17Mb 30o dpi, which it has to be since it's for a print on demand template. But this never happens with Canva. This alone is a dealbreaker for me.

How do I access the layout feature that was on the previous version?
I don't believe it exists in the same way it used to, but sit tight-I know they're working on something similar! (According to post I spotted today in the Facebook group since general access went live yesterday)

Is Generative AI only enabled on some accounts? I log into my account and can see it. But my daughter logs into her account and Generative AI isn't there.

Good question, Brent! To the best of my knowledge, they don't carry over-I rebuilt my brand quickly with the logo files, colors, fonts, (and now graphics!), etc.
I *believe* when this new version is out of beta, your old projects/brands will sync!

It's annoying how paid you sound but good walkthrough
It's close to being exactly what I need and switching out of Canva...BUT Canva is still better...barely. I do like the Adobe ecosystem. One thing neither of them have are keyframes for editing video. That helps a lot when using a portrait frame with landscape footage.
That's great feedback, Josh! I know they're walking a fine balance between keeping Express easy to use and not directly recreating the features we know and love in the more 'pro' tools like Premiere Pro. I do know that they LOVE receiving feedback, so I encourage you to share this with them! Appreciate the comment!
The strong, smooth, loud, etc options are essentially different kinds of easing, yes? So, no visible keyframes, but the end result is similar. Related to that, it would be sweet if we could add multiple "in" animations; fade plus bungee. Then again, some have a bit of fading built in. It's exciting stuff!
sorry to be a dumbass but where is the quick action menu in the beta version - I must be a total idiot cos I really cant find it
