Samson Pascal François

On May 18, 1924, a personality that modern society would love to have been born: a handsome man, with a piano playing skill recognized by many, who lived a life of luxury... He was a composer and pianist named Samson Pascal François. His name was given to him by his parents,
Samson means strength and Pascal means spirit.
He was a classical pianist, but he also had a great passion for jazz, and jazz pianist and composer Bud Powell said that his playing was influenced by jazz. However, he was recognized and admired for his ability to play works by Chopin, Schumann, Debussy, and Ravel.
He had one son and suffered his first heart attack on stage in 1968, and died two years later.
