Love your channel! We used to stay at a lodge at Upper Manitou Lake, made the long boat ride to Lower every time.... weather station lodge looks awesome, lower Manitou is the coolest lake I ever fished! Mainly Musky and Lakers, never new there were walleyes, this was 28 years ago....how did you get your boat there, seeing weatherstation is a fly in?

On another topic have you done a video on how to fish for various Rainbows, Brown, Speckled trout including Splake, from a small boat or kayak ? So many little lakes north of Kenora to try. I’ve tried a few of those lakes with a variety of lures, rigs, jigs but no luck yet. Even see them jumping. Steve, Ste Anne MB.

I feel so terrible. I haven't caught a single walleye at 26 inches and I don't think I ever will because I can't afford to put a live scope or even a side imaging unit on my kayak. I don't even have a sonar. How do I find summer walleyes without electronics and limited mobility? It makes me want to stick with bluegills
Definitely don't need sonars! I've done a number of videos without them if you want to check them out! Consider looking at google maps or apps like Navionics to see reefs and depths in the lakes you're fishing before you head out. Best of luck!

Great idea with the Jay vs! I'd rather watch you three than normal cable tv fishing shows. Side question- what's your thoughts on the mega 360 vs live imaging? I get it's not exactly comparable but what do you see yourself using more? I've debated both (fishing mostly basin lakes year round for walleyes, pike, perch, crappies, ect) and I'm interested to see what people with experience with the tech think. Thanks! Great video again.. Question in regards to live scope mounted on your transom, does it cause a lot of spray ? Watching your videos and Uncut angling it seems better for walleye than on a pole mount? I’ve got mine mounted on a pole, great for Crappies not as much for walleye..

Had it happen with my go pro in paintball no way to recreate what was missed sucks but some memory cards are just crap and sometimes like Clayton said heat gets to our equipment ...anyways great episode as usual keep it up Jay!!

I wish he would post more content, he had the perfect blend of knowledge and charisma you don't see on youtube anymore (or ever really), plus the guys camera work and editing was outstanding, he was way ahead of his time come to think about it, I dont see anyway you guys dont conquer youtube if you were to team up again.

Just tried some walleye fillets in Catch and Cook - amazing!! Try it! I’ll be taking some out to Cape Breton for my friends and family to use with the Striped Bass we catch in the Atlantic. It will be a winner!

I use 50# test mono leader and #2 hooks when I'm slip bobber for walleye . Got tired of getting bit of by pike . The walleye don't care as long as there is a frozen minnow on the hook in Alberta .

Not very often! It usually takes a minute to figure out what the heck I'm looking at hah

Not that I want to criticize your fishing techniques, but sometimes in finicky conditions hooking the leech in the center of the body gives a more realistic action when fishing a float.
