After he left the store and was on his way home, he realized the total was not correct for the games he bought. He pulled over and looked at his receipt. 1 of the games was not on his receipt. He turned around and went back to the store and paid for the game. As a mother, my heart was filled with joy, knowing I have raised an honest son. I felt the same joy in my heart watching you being so honest. Your parents did a fantastic job raising such an upstanding young man.
As a business owner, I tend to have days like this once in a while. Lately my anger has been getting the best of me, but the way you handled and composed yourself really made me rethink the way I have been handling issues over the last few months. Jr, Invest in some cable tools. They are very cheap, seriously. Buy some RG-6 crimpers, some RG-6 cable, some barrels and some fittings. You’ll be able to make a fix and keep the customer happy. Super quick and easy fix. The cable company will have to come out to fix it, but you can keep your customers going in the meantime. It’s a 5 min fix.

Working as a service manager in the automotive industry, a "simple" thing that turns into a fiasco is all too familiar. That, or a customer will try to convince you that their problem is simple and inexpensive to repair in hopes that they're somehow manifesting a false statement into reality. I commend you on your attitude towards finding a solution. You're obviously results oriented and I can certainly relate to that. Good on ya, my friend. On a totally separate note...I'm really disappointed and sad after watching his trip to McDonalds. I believe in opening our country to other folks from different parts of the world, and that America is the land of opportunity for many who, in their own country, could never imagine the kind of life they can create here. HOWEVER, employing a woman who can't understand REALLY BASIC gestures and questions is beyond unacceptable. We, as Americans should not be expected to learn an entirely new language in order to communicate our food orders. To add on that point, I believe it's the responsibility of immigrants to make their best effort to learn communication and English. We aren't asking them to be fluent, and I appreciate that their contributing to our country through their employment (taxes), but being paid without the bare minimum skills to communicate is both irresponsible of McDonalds and the employed individual.
