Good range of general topics this time, and well-matched teams. It's becoming more evident that teams have to play at full strength, no passengers. 21 Qs + 4 misses. Hertford-O: 11 starters with Captain Tudor on 4, Woodgate 3 (Bio), Page & Taylor 2 each. 1x5 penalty. Bonus conversion rate 67%, incl. 4 full houses. Exeter: 10 starters, Klintworth & Lay 4 each, Waitland 2. 2x5 penalty. Bcr 56%.
Devil's Advocate here again with crash helmet on :) Well matched teams but the key to Hertford's win could've been Happy Woodgate. In R1 she was pretty much a passenger, but here she got her 3 Bio Qs correct + 5/9 or 25 points off the resulting bonuses, a total of 55 points, enabling their 50-point win.
And again, in the first picture round, I thought, "If you're going to do forests, surely you have to have Sherwood!" Aaaaaand, sure enough... There have been quite a few question sets with a cliché in them this season, IMO.
Glen Povey It sounded as though he pronounced the ch as it is said in 'loch' - in Germany, depending on the area you're in, it's pronounced either way.
So happy for the fast upload, thank you!! Lay from Exeter has a wonderfully rich speaking voice. Congratulations to the winners for a great job!
After all, he is an Oxonian.

24:14 The mid-90s, more like!
I'm surprised Jeremy didn't notice the mistake.
Yeah! That has to be a mistake as Blair didn't become Labour leader til 1994. Well spotted. I'm not sure I've ever know of a mistake before? Have you?
Thanks for the fast upload!
During Hertford's introduction I had to check the year just to be sure I was watching the proper episode

How could she have been "the key". She got 3 starter questions. Taylor and Page got 2 each, and Tudor got 4. She was one of the team. Just that.

Note the term 'Devil's Advocate' ... let me know if the penny drops :P

True. I've noticed that too, incl. Sherwood :P
A shame to see Lay go
Pat Tudor looks like he's been beamed in from the early 90s.
You aren't referring to Klintworth? I haven't seen a jersey like that since the 90's.

Good episode, riveting stuff!
North.
When was Orpington moved to South London? It's still in Kent as far as I know.
Thank you!
Brown has a very 1920s or 1930s appearance. Chic.
Great episode and the best team won!
University of Oxford 🇬🇧♥️ !
Paxman's on drugs, he's being nice again.
Thank you!!!
woodgate's studying bilergy is she?
Same as last seasons Edinburghs Stone's bio-logy :P But Woodgate rose well to the 3 Qs helping her team win comfortably.
Emotional damage made me comment like this: Ofc Oxford will win *** havent watched the whole video
Foch is pronounced 'fosh' not 'fock'!
Glen Povey It sounded as though he pronounced the ch as it is said in 'loch' - in Germany, depending on the area you're in, it's pronounced either way.
He pronounced it Fokh as if it was German, Dutch, Polish etc.
But it's French. :)
Tudor ❤️
Woodgate = amazing 😍😍😍
Why would woodgate be "amazing"? She got 3 starter questions. That's pretty average for UC.
Selinor578 Lighten up mate

I wouldn't mind studying biology with Woodgate.
