As for the personal statement for acting degree, may I ask how to fill up the second question on describing one past acting experience if I do not have any acting experience prior to the application? Does this means I have to be part of a theatre play? 2. Also, is it okay to take up the degree course even though I have a Bachelor degree and Diploma? I am hoping to learn more about acting without rushing the experience. 3. For the acting degree, do I have to submit my TOPIK result together with the application? Do I have to take tests like SATS for the application? 4. For the certificates (academic transcripts, personal documents), is it possible to submit photocopies of the certificates? I heard that the school will not return your certificates even after graduation. Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to answer so many questions of mine!
1). Experience can be anything; Film, Theatre, TV, ETC 2). Yeah 3). TOPIK is a must. English score is optional. 4). Documents submitted will not be returned. So, submit verified copies of the original.
Most fully sponsored scholarships everywhere discourage working during your program. K'arts is the same. But if you have a strong reason why you want to work you will seek approval from the AMA office and Korean Immigration. It's possible to work. But there's a procedure. You can apply even if your BA isn't related. But make sure your portfolio is convincing.
Hello, Josh I got information that Anupam got a scholarship without having any Korean language skills. Was it because at that time there wasn't a TOPIK 6 requirement for acting majors or because his portfolio was so good? But in the source video says he got his scholarship by taking such an exam. I'm preparing for AMA scholarship exam & i have few questions to ask I'm from a commerce background currently I'm in the final year of bachelor in commerce but i have learnt acting as hobby, a group was formed & we later had been to stage act competition which has a video of stage performance of our group on TH-cam in one of the indian languages the role i played in it was not a lead role but is considered as main role my role i played was like 2 to 3 minutes but that's the only video i have of my acting journey , i least have like 2 to 3 certificate of stage act & i got a gold medal from my pre college university for that does this count . I'm i still eligible for Master in Acting, drama. I have been attending online course from Korean university like yonsei, sungkyunkwan university of Korea for korean language, does this count is it must that i have to take any topik exam?
I think there's still many months before the next intake. You can add on to what you have and submit a credible application when the time comes. Put your focus on building your Korean language and your portfolio.

You can apply having no BA background provided you have done extensive work in the field you are applying for. In other words, your portfolio is gonna have to be your savior. I'll try.

@@_autumn_bear Honestly I think acting is one of the hardest to get because it needs TOPIK 6. I don't wanna discourage you but if you can get level 6 and also make other required documents before the new application starts, you can give it a try. All the best ~

it's recommended that all theses are written in korean. if you need an exception in english you will have to seek permission from your main professor. i think you can still apply.

You can act in films or dramas later but you gonna have to establish yourself, make networks over some years. Anupam too didn't do it overnight. It took time.

Some rules changed. I think Topik 6 wasn't a requirement then. PLUS Anupam was already a great actor before joining K-Arts.
During university (karts), are there tests and exams or we just pass classes through credits?
There are both traditional tests and activity. Depending on the major. And based on them credits are awarded.

for the online submission you upload one recommendation. later during offline application you can print the docs you need to print and send them.

Topik 3 is basic requirement for most majors. So try to get Topik 3.
