I have a bunch of these but I don’t understand how to use this thing. The yarn doesn’t seem to want to stay in the rings.

How do you keep it from sliding around on your finger, I think my fingers are to fat, it will not fit on my knuckle. I have tried every position. I like the idea but the product is not working.

Perhaps wrap a an elastic band on your finger before slipping it on. Not too tightly though, just enough to stay in place. I find the thimble slips around also and this has helped.

You can crochet a round one that slips around finger, thtead yarn from inside to outside of crocheted one works great and wont hurt finger.

Thanks. Just ordered some of these in a pack with the peacock rings also. What about double strands?

"Crab Nebbits!' My finger is too skinny for it. :/ I tried adjusting it and it just springs back into the original place. I guess I'll try one of those 'swan' ones or get some gauge wire and make my own. :/

I bought the rubber spiral ring size adjuster things on Amazon (it looks like a mini telephone cord) and wrapped it around the ring to make it smaller so now mine doesn't twist because I also have smaller fingers. It works great :-)

Knitting thimble to crochet--is not a knitting thimble --it's a crochet thimble!!

Will this work for Continental knitting ? I saw this same product on EBay for .99 cents with free shipping !

it's not comfortable at all... I have difficulty to catch yarn. I prefer without ring.

  • @winningnumbers

so a person can only use a knitting thimble on your left hand. If not a continental knitter, the thimble is useless?

the two holes are for 2 separate yarn colors for fair isle knitting. there's really no point in using it for a single skein

when used for crochet (like this video), it is perfect for keeping the tension right.

Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "handmade knit hats for babies" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Veyillian Noncarlett Eradicator - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my neighbour got amazing success with it.
