Mitch Marner is one of the top 2 way Wingers in the NHL, play on the PK, PP has even played on Defense. ..I believe that Keefe was over using Marner as to much of a Rover and to many minutes. That may have had a little of a bad effect in his play.

Mike, Nylander can win you games on his own. He can get you GOALS at crunch time. Marner gets you ASSISTS in the second period. Willy has a bit more bite/fight than Marner as well. Marner noticably slinks away from the rough stuff (its embarrassing). Suffice it to say they are close and they are both great players but ludicrous is way too strong a word.
The only thing that keeps Marner close to Nylander is his defensive ability. And even with that, I'm still taking Nylander. He has been the only consistent core 4 player across the last 4 playoffs. He has bad games like everyone, but he consistently creates chances. Marner doesn't. That said, I hope they both have a great upcoming playoffs this year. As for being around the rough stuff, Nylander’s 200+lbs and Marner’s about 180. Nylander’s skated away from a lot of rough stuff too.
