  • After many moons of being gone, Easy Projects are back! This time we stack squares and make a cute dish.
    Note, you could stack more than 2 colours high, I just stopped there because I like the look.
    Mold used: Delphi 5" Square Slumper Mold
    www.delphiglass.com/fusing-mo...
    I can't find my square plate slumper online anymore, and I have no idea who I bought it from, so here's some options:
    5.25" plate from Slumpy's
    www.slumpys.com/Sales/Soft-Sl...
    5.25" Plate from Delphi (Bullseye mold)
    www.delphiglass.com/fusing-mo...
    6" square plate from Firelite Forms, #g1612

    Steph, that is a wonderful project, I too love aqua and white! One thing that sometimes can help avoid devit is to sift a light layer (so from left to right, 2 passes, the drop to the next "line", 2 passes, etc.) of clear powder. You will be amazed at the multitude of "sins" it can cover up, lol! I do this on nearly everything I make nowadays and it works really well! Loved this project with the kind of pillow-effect, it is a beautiful little dish! ❣

      I should have used clear powder on this, I do it on a lot of non clear capped stuff.
      I think I didn't for 2 reasons. 1) I was in a hurry, and 2) I figured if I'm teaching simple projects that can be made without a lot of glass colours, or fancy tools, then clear powder to achieve a nice finish might be cheating.

    It was so simple , not at all what I remember. And you made the math so obvious.

    Happy New Year and I’m happy to see you back. I love your little projects. I see you have a bag of Hollows. How about a small project using the Hollows? Wishing you a great year. Kathie from Mexico 🤗🫔🐢

    What kind of glue did you use?

    • @StephFuses
      @StephFuses  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For this, I used GlasTac Gel, which comes from Bullseye. You could use cheap hairspray, PVA glue (clear elmer's glue), or aleo vera
